Anyone else think its slightly stupid that people who oppose the Death penalty are celebrating at the death of one man?

Did you actually notice that or read it on a site for crazy people?

FEMA camps (spelt right this time) or Birkenau (Auschwitz)? Well no.

I do view sites for crazy people though, like attracts like after all🙂

have you seen the MLK Boondocks episode?

Apparently Obama doesn't want to release the photos...

So, was the woman used as a human shield or not? I'd be interested to see if the SEALs could be tried for murder, isn't that considered murder to kill an unarmed civilian?

there are several legal questions surrounding the whole operation, what makes you think the military will be accountable to the law in this case?

And he's right. People who think this is yet another government conspiracy or another Obama ruse will not be swayed by a photo.

and there would be serious negative repercussions to showing photos of his dead body all over the media

>Implying there won't be repercussions from killing him.

not nearly as many as there would be from headlines like "Rot in Hell" overlay-ed atop a photo of a gruesome body

anyone who feels a need to get revenge from us killing OBL is already trying to hurt us. pictures of his corpse in the media will offend the Muslims who we are trying to prove that we aren't crusaders to.

it doesn't HAVE to be released that way though.
Of course, there wouldn't be much to say if he was shot in the head, regardless, I think it is something that should be made available to see - perhaps now it is to soon to release it, but I don't think keeping it from the public is a sensible option.

My opinion, I understand though what you are saying.

And let's be honest, as it's already been stated conspiracy theorists are not going to budge on their views even in the face of relenting fact.

how would you prevent the media from acting in a way that Muslims would find offensive...

like, that would require a violation of free speech and free press, to do what? satisfy the morbid curiosity of people who want to see brains?

you said it yourself, it wont convince anyone of anything

The notion that the government faked his death is just idiotic. What would be the motive?

If he was secretly a US puppet, surely it would be more politically expedient just to kill him for real.

If he's an actual enemy of the US, all he'd have to do was prove he's still alive, and the US would be completely discredited.

He was NON secretly a US puppet.
Look up his activities in the 80s.
He was working with the CIA.

I think the issue being chatted about most is not "Is he dead?" but rather "How LONG has he been dead?".

Hes apparently been killed 9 times now, after all... how can we be sure (Especially now the eviden- erm... I mean 'The body' has been disposed of) that this ninth killing is enough to keep him down finally...? 😖hifty:

Yes, because it's impossible for someone to ever switch sides...

just throwing it out there: the US NEVER directly funded Bin Laden's group of Mujihadeen. They funded local Afghan groups through Pakistan, who didn't want the foreign arab fighters to have power, because the Pakistani intelligence wanted to have control of the post-war Afghanistan.

Arab groups like Bin Laden's typically used funding from Gulf States, like Saudi Arabia, international charity fraud, and their own sizable fortunes.

The CIA did not train Bin Laden. They trained many other people who would be almost indistinguishable from him in that setting, but not him.

I never said that, KK..
But unless Putin was hiding him, I doubt it.

Why do you doubt it?

well 'doubt' would be a figure of speech thing.
Its unlikely that as he did so much fighting with the Russians in the 80s, that he'd have gone Russkie.

But like you say: Who knows.
