Usually the person making the assertion has to provide evidence. This is why Jehovah's Witnesses come to my door with pamphlets and books instead of asking me to prove their God exists.

That's not to say the elders aren't more powerful than a high-meta level being such as Akuma, they likely are, but no one knows how much of their power (which is already a unknown by itself) Raiden has harnessed. Akuma still has better feats than either Raiden or Shao Khan.

Also fyi, Death Battle isn't different from any other form of fanfiction, and Akuma ranks above Bison in Street Fighter.
