About the "Deity" thing...

A lot of deity and gods in manga/anime/games/etc. are NOT like the totally ominpotent Christian God.

For example... In Dragon Ball the "gods" are not the strongest being in the universe. Think about the Elder Kaioshin: a "mortal" like Goku would destroy him without breaking a sweat.

Of course, that's not to say the Elder Gods and such in MK don't have feats or anything that make them worthy of their status.

Yep plus, i think the only person chao kahn has lost to is lui kang, though according to shao lin monks he had help from kung lao... Like i said before, i wonder where kahn would be had liu kang not not lost to the DA..?? 🙂

@RP shaolin monks isn't canon? hm... i always thought it took place before MKII as i read it... and it's said that's is how kung lao gave sub-zero his scar... but idk maybe you're right... and yeah he'd be running away.. i still wonder how the hell he won everything...

Ryu didn't defeat Akuma in SFA2. Akuma was testing Ryu and wanted Ryu to let the evil intent overcome him. Ryu didn't let that happen and Akuma wasn't satisfied, pointing out that they will meet again when the evil intent awakens in Ryu. Then Akuma destroyed the island and disappeared.

Other than that, of course Kahn stands no chance against Akuma. His skills and powers are leagues inferior to Akuma's.

If Shao Kahn was at his best he would win

Nope. Akuma would knock Kahn into red paste. This is really unfair. Add Raiden and Shang Tsung for some balance.

Shao Kahn at his best is invincible so he could win not only that at the end of mk9 he withstood lighting powered by 7 gods who have the power the destroy the universe and this isnt even his best so yes he could win.
