It was seeing as how his original plan did not involve hit allowing Lang to hit him while he blocked. This is confirmed by Creed's reaction when he outright asked Rocky what he was doing. If this is basically what they planned Creed would not need an explanation.

But only Lang's punching power forced Rocky to alter his "take hits until you have an opening" tactic that he uses. That alone shows who's hits he took as a more serious threat

I am not basing my standpoint on anything quan has said. I'm not ignoring any context, in fact I'm addressing any and all points brought up against me. The fact you don't agree with me is not big deal and you seem to be getting your feelings hurt because you are disagreed with.
