God, Earth 2 was terrible. Really don't get how DC can approve this shit. But of course if they cancel the book now, some idiot will call them homophobic or something.
GL was solid, I thought. Nice to see some racism from Amanda Waller lol. Not sure the time-frame makes sense though, re: Kyle Rayner.
Action was good. LOL @ Superman being too much for the Phantom Zone, though. That was impressive.

I'm not saying Earth 2 is groundbreaking at all. Just don't expect it to go away anytime soon. The thing I don't get is that you guys are STILL reading the book, despite not liking it. Kind of funny, TBH.

Second, if the character was straight before, then yes I have a problem with it, personally. That said, if the comic is written well and doesn't draw attention to how flamingly gay the character is like some sort of charicature, then I can live with it.
Like Colossus, for example.

Nope. I quit when it was clear they weren't doing anything I liked or was going to like.
It's also still new. Everyone has their breaking point. If it continues like this, there won't be anyone talking about it on KMC in 6 months. We live inside a bubble where a few months is a lifetime to dissect, use in vs. battles, etc. It's actually a short amount of time in which to really read a comic.
Whether or not sales will follow is a different matter entirely, and speculative.
But they're right on one thing: sales /= quality.

It's actually the one thing I'm ok with in E2. It's everything else that's garbage. And Galan's point was how they took the homosexual thing to disturbing/uninteresting places, not the homosexuality itself. All things considered, I'm still against it as well because I goddamn liked original Alan, and this new incarnation is nothing like him at all. But in so far as a big homosexual reveal goes, DC could've chosen a lot worse. As long as they're using nothing but color schemes from the original characters, they might as well make the gay character a potentially strong leader like Alan.
