😂

I'm happy that Arthur got to show off more strength.

No doubt people on the vs forum will try to paint it as a low showing for Superman, when it isn't.

Also, nice little cameo for anyone reading.

Where art and dialogue are concerned, this scene in particular was... Pretty phucking cool:

As was the final page:

Also, it was nice (if brief) to see Arthur using his telepathy on the atlanteans. So not just marine life it seems.

Aquaman did really good in this issue strength, durability and speed wise.
And again shows his strategic knowledge.
The Atlanteans are for real and Orm is a real threat.
The cameo was nice, and continues the development of the Aqua-verse.

Supes gets some respect and shows his more energy based attacks.
Batman does not have any notable feats
WW also lands some good hits.
Cyborg even has some nice feats.

The ending is also awesome and sets Aquaman #16 for some potentially awesome underwater scenes.

All in all Johns delivers the best chapter of the best JL story so far (in this book of course)
And Reis again shows he is one of the top artists in the industry (the spread of the Atlantean army is epic)

The hint at them finally building you know who was interesting too I thought.

I like I said Happy 😛.

It is a good feat for Arthur for sure, and I'm liking the push Atlantis is getting. I wish Marvel would do some of the same.

Ah yes you r correct. I forgot about the "building" line.
Good stuff in this issue. Quality and quantity wise.

So PR how fast would you say AQ is fighting/charging wise according to what we've seen so far?

no idea.

At least it's shown as superhuman like speed which is fine.
More like charging, kinda like the way he jumps.

This is the second time I think (apart from the brief JL vs Talons fight)
Johns is dropping AQ feats left and right
I am content 😄

I.e. gets lip-service and then gets punked. I'd rather do without both, if that's the way it's going to be.

To each his own, but I found this issue to be boring.

It's great if you're an Aquaman fan, though.

Fair enough.
But the attack seemed to be magical in nature tbh, so it is plausible as far as Superman's "not invulnerability" (not weakness) to magic is concerned.

Anyone else read Supergirl vs Flash?

No, how was it?

There's a "McDuffie" scene, where Supergirl implies she is faster than Superman.

The main block of the fight is this:

This just marks another time the writers have tried to copy a plot-point from another writer. And that wouldn't be as bad, if the idea they have for themselves would be good, but they seem to be frustrated to show their toy, Supergirl, is just as good and powaful(!) as the other guy's toy, Superman.

They aren't helping me think that the existence of Supergirl is useless, and deameaning towards the Superman mythos.

Is Idelson still editor?

Vibe is the guardian/gateway to the Multiverse.

Meh if I remember correctly preboot Supes dispelled that "implication" within some issues.

Hopefully this will happen in the DCnU also
