About time. GL has been utterly atrocious, imo.

What?! GL has been pretty solid for the past 2 years.

BTW, Grant Morrison is taking over.

Looks good, he had a nice run. He's going out with a bang! I'm still waiting on Larfleeze's oath though..... wheelchair

The 2 Gail books sound very promising. In the new Edge solits, looks like Majestic will be introduced in Team 7. Not to mention LOBO in Stormwatch! May sounds like a good month, but sucks Team 7 is gone.

Finally its confirmed that Kyle survives the Third Army.

Spoiler:
Henshaw makes his debut.

I actually own the comic where Cyborg Superman debuted back in the 90s, so yes, I'm glad to see this.

Jordan has been pretty good on Team 7, so I am extremely happy to see Hank and Majestic in the same book. Not to mention Ladytron. The art however has been kind of disappointing, but the new preview above is excellent. Makes me sad it's ending so soon.

So it isn't just Johns that's leaving. Tomasi, Milligan and Bedard are leaving their Lantern books too.

abhilegend this is an amazing and true page. damn.

What would have been more accurate would be for post-Crisis Superman to weep and think about how to act, when DCnU Superman comes in decisively and takes action.

As it is, that's a cool transition.....from Pre-COIE Superman to DCnU Superman.

That's quite a void. It'll be a hard act for whoever to follow, I'm surprised they're, y'know, replacing everyone rather than one or two and leaving some existing hands. Must be a direction change.

It won't be that hard for the exception of Johns, because commercially he is the GL writer. Tomasi is average same as Bedard.

Hmm. That got to me a bit more than I would've liked it to.

I'd say both Tomasi and Bedard are pretty solid. Not big draws like you say, granted, but you'd still have a good anchor in them, and it'll be hard to get a full slate of good writers that are both good and mesh well.

I actually enjoyed Tomasi's GLC more than John's main GL pre-DCNU

Some of their issues have been solid, but nothing groundbreaking. Both titles have received average to poor reviews. Same with Red Lanterns. I'd actually like to see GL getting back to it's roots. And Geoff and Co aren't doing it. Instead it's event after event and at times have gotten tiresome. I hope they can get some sci fi writers like Kindt or Diggle on the titles, because it needs a new direction.

BTW, there are a few writers that only have one or NO books that would be better writers than Tomasi, so it won't be all that difficult.
