So I just caught up on Animal Man. It is an extremely strange series, but I found myself enjoying the hell out of it. It has a very interesting/obscure plot, mixed with superb dialogue and artwork. 23 issues have been released so far(counting the #0 issue and Annual) and I enjoyed every single one of them immensely. It's like nothing else I've ever read-- certainly not your typical 'cookie-cutter' book.
Has anyone else been reading this? I'd like to hear some other opinions...

Animal Man has been a roller coaster like most runs, IMO. It started out as my favorite title, then once Rot World hit (and buildup prior to that), it went downhill. Rot World wasn't bad per say, just a little too long for my taste. Once Rot World ended, Animal Man became one of my favorite titles again. Top 5 or so. Right behind Green Arrow. ✅
The last 2-3 issues has been solid.

Rot World was a little lengthy, but I still thought it was very well done. We saw the full extent of Arcane's vision of earth made manifest.
Did you read the Swamp Thing issues too? How did you like them?
BTW, current ST is waaay better than Snyder's, so I recommend you check them out.
Speaking of ST... Preview for 22.
Pandora looks pretty good.

I thought Unchained was awesome. I have faith that Scott Snyder has a great story to tell, he rarely disappoints and from interviews it seems he's been planning and wanting to tell the story for a really long time, and so far I'm loving the concept of the story,
Spoiler:and the pacing feels very reminiscent of Snyder's other work. The back-up story also has me pretty intrigued. Honestly as a big Scott Snyder fan I love that I'm getting to see him work on Superman, if it turns out to be good as his Batman stuff that would be pretty amazing.
that there's this other "Superman" who was basically the atomic bomb, a nice contrast to Superman and his origins as this icon that was created in opposition to the bomb
What did people think of Batman/Superman?
