Eh, men are just as sexualized in comicdom as the women and you don't hear them complaining about it. Then again they are the cooler gender.

Namor shows more skin than anyone I can think of. Get over it.

Guy Gardner's (and apparently Kyle Rayner's) history being retconned is more annoying than I thought it would be.

Guy treating Booster with no respect made me angry. durhulk

It's also like Guy and Ice never even met. Did they even speak to one another at all in JLI #1?

How're they changing Guy/Kyle?

Preview of Guardians looks like Kyle's origin is the same...

^ ... reread Kyle's origin again.

One more day to Blackhawks and I Vampire. yet another writer said it was his fav. Here is one mini review.

I had the opportunity to review the first issue. Andrew Bennett is back! Truly an amazing book and my favorite of the first issues, bar none.

Can you believe 2011 marks this character's 30th anniversary?

Sleeper hit of the New 52. Huzzah.

Interview with writer Josh Fialkov will be up soon elsewhere. I'll keep everyone updated.

Oh, and yes, my review has some exclusive, heretofore unseen artwork!

Go! Go now!

New Guardians was nothing special (at all.) And Kyle's "green-ring-origin" is exactly the same as it was.

Pretty much.

I'm assuming they're keeping Hal's time as Parallax canon (judging from the beginning of the comic), then, though I'd imagine the events of Zero Hour and Final Night have probably been vastly tweaked or omitted.

At least I hope they don't completely remove that aspect from Hal's canon to make him less failable.

The only thing worse then a book drawn by Finch, is a book written and drawn by Finch. Dark Knight #1 😘

Did you read I Vampire or any other books? How was it?

So far, my favs of this week are Voodoo and Aquaman. Aquaman was fantastic.

Haven't read I Vampire yet, but I'm definitely going to.

Something does come to mind, though.

Ganthet "chose" Kyle in the retelling of his origin because of his ability to overcome great fear, something which was explicitly shown to be not the case prior to this reboot. In fact, that was a running plot point with Kyle; whether or not he was chosen or just happened to be in the right place in the right time. He was never a fearless Green Lantern, which was what helped make him unique.

New Guardians? All right. Dark Knight? Decent. Superman? Solid.

Aquaman? F*cking brilliant. Johns shows just how good he can be when he's not wanking Flash.

Edit: Flash was ok too.

Voodoo...

Spoiler:
No champagne room. Ever.

Aquaman = the shit.

I liked Flash better then Aquaman. Thought it was awesome. 😮

If I had to rank the books I've read so far from most favorable to least, it would go like this:

Aquaman
Superman
Batman: TDK
Flash
New Guardians.

Mine is almost the same.

Aquaman
Superman
Batman: TDK
Voodoo
Flash
New Guardians

Not read Voodoo yet; probably will soon, though.

Teen Titans was a bit slow, tbh. Not bad, just not great either. Also, look out for cameos.

Aquaman was brilliant. Will weigh in on others later
