This stuff happens far more often than to the contrary.. Hell even in the Wonder Man example, with all those free cheap shots Wondy got off, Wolverine was still concious. 😐

And as for your scenario. Wolverine a better fighter than Thor, (until proven otherwise) faster in combat, and has claws that will rend through Thor with ease, the likelyhood of Thor successfully pulling that off is SLIM... SLIM... SLIM...
Hulk tried it he got messed up, Spiderman tried it he got a kick to the balls and frankly.. adamantium reinforced attacks from any body part are painful

That claw strike should have taken Namor's head off, but it caused mere scratches on his face...and I have noticed this happens with many of his opponents

that was nothing more than a rake.. in that same fight Wolverine stabs straight through Namor two times without much trouble.

And reasonable doubt doesn't exist when you already showed a scan of Wolverine landing a hit on Herc and nothing happening and even Wolverine has dodged attacks does that mean he wouldn't heal from them 😉
