yeah your probably right.the thing that I like is that the postives seem too outweigh the negatives.I dont like it that they are betraying the comicbook that Gwen apparently knows peter is spiderman but that seems to be the trend with hollywood these days is the girlfriend needs to know his identity.that was true in even the great Nolan Batman movies,the only TRUE BATMAN films made so get used to it.

Although if Gwen dies, her being the only one who knows his identity would make it more emotional.
Hopefully they don't kill off Gwen just to have MJ finding out Pete is Spiderman!

yeah I know but that was the worst mistake they ever made and with sonys name attached to it, they copy the worst mistakes made in the past as they are doing already with Gwen knowing his identity. sony comes up with so many stupid ideas they force on the directors.
Time to face it that we'll never have a spidey movie where they reverse marvels stupid decision to kill off gwen and where his mask doesnt keep getting taken off until sony doesnt have their evil greedy hands on it anymore and marvel studios finally has the rights.again I dont understand why there is no lawsuit from stan and marvel over this. 😠
Like I said if Capt stacy dies in this film,expect Gwen to in the next one with Green Goblin.that was ONE thing Raimis movies did better than this reboot is they at least did not have gwen find out his identity or kill her off.I give them kudos for getting that much right.

Oh no. The S3 Gwen was horribly done! At least the reboot seems to be making her a lovable character and is making her Pete's first true love.

well everybody knows that, 😄 Im just saying if those bastards kill off Gwen again then that will be ONE thing you wont be able to deny that Raimi's spiderman 3 movie did right,was that one thing that they did not kill off Gwen.
Raimi and those screenwriters of those movies can be accused of a lot of things on screwing up those movies from the past,but he can never be accused of killing off Gwen though is all Im saying. 😉 that was the ONE decent thing the screenwriters did in that movie was getting that much right. 😄 I was afraid she was going to die when she fell off the building, but you got to tip your hat off to them for at least getting THAT much right.Having a heart enough not to kill her off is what i was saying. 😉 thank god they at least didnt make that stupid mistake. they did that one thing right you cant deny. 😄cheers

Heh heh.when they bring on mary jane,they better freaking get her character right this time.That was how I knew from the very beginning back in 2002 sm1 was going to suck from tha trailer.you could tell just from watching the trailer they betrayed her character making her into gwen,nice and sweet instead of the stuck up b!tch,airheaded wild party girl whore she was from the comics. they have NEVER gotten her character right in ANY of the adaptations.

He understands Gwens character and most importantly,parkers character so I have to believe he understands Mj as well. 💃 You can tell he understands Gwens character because have you seen Stupid Crazy Love? in that movie,the actress playing gwen in this film,she sounds totally different and talks totally different in her voice than she does in this movie.that to me tells me that she really understands gwens character and thats because Webb understood her charaacter so well. 🙂

Not been blown away by the 3D trailers for this to be honest. I'll go see it simply cos my cinema buddy wants to but I'm not expecting much. I have no idea why they would entrust arguably Marvel's biggest and best known superhero (along with a large budget) to Marc Webb...A man whose contribution to film has only been 500 Days of Summer.

Most the reviews have been really good. It's supposed to be a Darker Spidey, a Stronger romance, and loads of good quips and humour. Add in some awsome CGI battles between Spidey and Lizard, and what's not to like!

I believe that's a lot to do with the actress doing her research into Gwen. That's what I'm liking about this, all the actors have taken their roles seriously.
Just wish Gwen didn't know Pete was Spidey goddamnit!! That's the only downside I'm seeing to this movie. I wish they would just stop unmasking him in every single movie for the love of....
