Van Zan was a pussy who hid behind his "army" before killing them all with his incompetance and then people they should have protected.

You hide behind anyone you can get behind.

Zan led his army and lived for dragon murder. The director was clear Zan was the boogeyman for dragons. Your lies are silly.

I am sure the dragons were terrified of Van Zan. It's like having brussel sprouts on your plate that you know you have to eat. It's nasty and disgusting, but someone's gotta eat it. Luckily for the dragons, Daddy decided to chow down on it.

The director stated it in an interview. Your judas like behavior isn't changing a clear portrayal he personally admits.

I don't care what the director said if it contradicts the film. If the director wanted Van Zan to be an elite dragon hunter, he should have portrayed Van Zan as a elite dragon hunter instead of a retard who nearly gets everyone killed.

He was a elite dragon hunter. Just because you don't understand the film don't assume no one else did.

Zan saved everyone. Without him none of that happens.

McClane can't even save his own marriage.

the director's comments only matter when it suits quan. clown

when it works against him (producer/writer/director george lucas regarding TCW canon), all of the sudden it's inadmissable clown

stupid hypocrite

So who here thinks they are winning the thread?

Lucas doesn't own the rights and it contradicts their showings in the live action films.

Difference.

Quit flaming and actually constructively debate.

Nope. Thats you again.

Oh He lived for Dragon Murder alright.
He had those dragons murder his people (and his army) real quick....

You mean the director said that Van Zan was equivalent to a fictional character with no substance who we all learned was nothing to be afraid of..? I agree with that.
You're silly to see the truth as lies.

im not flaming. im pointing out objective fact.

you lack the intelligence to see your own glaring hypocrisy and self contradiction, and you wallow in deceptive avoidance in order to agitate others and act the public spectacle.

so you are a stupid clown, get it?

Seems like there's only one person here who misunderstood the film...

Because knowledge of the Alpha male's existence was worth the lives of Van Zan's entire crew and Quinn's village right?

At least McClane has gotten to experience the joy of marriage, which is more than what can be said about Van Zan

He killed many dragons off screen and one on screen.

Zan was the boogeyman of the dragons. Fact. He came at them. McClane feared his wife who ended his marriage despite saving her life. It was that bad.

You said the director contradicted his own vision. Wrong.

The dragon came to him and casualties happen in wars. Quit being emotional.

McClane was good at divorce. He was unlovable and a failure.

So one dragon then, by MVF rules.
(With the help of his men using themselves as live bait to distract the dragon whilst Van Zan cheap shots it, too.)

Your panty twisting narcissistic rage and lipstick smeared obsession with your butthurt has you attacking a fictional character's marriage in a fight outcome likelihood based debate. Time to take the meds, man.

And you mean to confess that you find Van Zan loveable? lol

Zan took it out. We know he took out more. No one else thought it was even possible to take out dragons until Zan stormed onto the scene. They worshipped him and he scoffed at them for it, Sal.
