But although he lived more badass, that doesn't mean he can beat him in a fistfight. Jack Bauer is way more badass than Jason Bourne, but if they got into a fistfight, Bourne would tap Bauer's ass like Justin Bieber in a prison shower. Although Denton is good at fistfighting, he hasn't displayed nearly the proficiency of McClane. You can't base this win off of a fight against somebody much weaker than him and a more charismatic demeanor. You gotta display the physical feats pertaining to a H2H fight. And the thing is, McClane has better feats.

Thats debateable. McClane certainly was able to live longer and more spectacularly.

In the sense he easily beat down an opponent who sucker punched him it's a lo mote impressive than getting beat up which McClane seems to have mastered.

Be they Gun, Knife, C4, Zippo, Car, Plane, Helicopter, icicle, vent machinery, explosions whatever...

Van Zan uses an axe/tank/car/helicopter etc.

Just McClane has a massive kill count advantage over that Van Zan chick.
