He likely wouldn't have to. Van Zan is so shit at fighting, that a hard look from McClane would likely have VZ shitting himself to death at the prospect of fighting someone who fails to recognise feet stamping, chest puffing Neanderthalic tantrums and empty loud noises as viable currency in a fistfight..

Van Zan's complete lack of fighting 'ability' has him doing all that over-compensatory grunting kiay stuff, leaving his jaw open and vulnerable to KO= KO with even the 1st slight glancing blow by McClane. And Van Zan having no defense will fall right for it straight away.

The fight only lasted a minute and ended due to interference. Zan easily would have mauled him.

LOL, bunch of nonsense. Zan has way better H2H skills than McClane. John will get his ass beat to the ground, and since there's no interference to stop the fight, it's just going to be Zan repeatedly wailing into McClane's face until it looks like Manwich.

LOL Van will easily avoid anything McClane's wimp ass throws at him. McClane's a scrub in H2H. He won't even touch Zan.

And even conscious he certainly cannot punch or inflict any damage judging by all screen feats in which he totally failed to damge his opponent in any way despite having free shots for half of the 'fight'.

That fight went on for a minute. What's the shortest fight McClane's been in? Van would have turned Quinn's face into strawberry jam had that fight not been interfered with. McClane isn't going to stand a chance. He has no way of hitting Zan.

And again, judging from screenfeats, McClane hasn't won a pure H2H fight yet. I'll have to see the new one but I'm sure he's a bytch fistfighter in that too, based off the screenfeats of the past 4 films.
