By Zan's attacks. All go hand in hand to make him the scrapper he was. You can't ignore characteristics just because you fanboy McCLane.

And Quinn wasn't that injured, which makes the feat far less impressive than McClane killing someone in HTH.
Due to people pulling Zan off of him.

Killing someone >>>>>>>>>>>> being unable to ko someone

And we're back to Quinn showing base level fighting skills. He can throw a punch. Which means the sum of Van Zan's H2H feats is that he beat up a base level untrained guy.

Their fight was interruped. How many fights of McClane did he rely on a weapon or so as the equalizer ?

So he can treat a leader type who is physically fit like he's not even in the same category as Zan whereas McClane needs a girl to turn around to gain the advantage.

Yet, it lasted longer than the HTH fight where McClane killed someone.

Therefore my point stands.

You are just highlighting one example and are being vague about it in general while ignoring his other showings.

At least you finally admit that killing someone is a more impressive HTH feat than being unable to ko them.

"Leader type" doesn't automatically mean "great H2H fighter", Ghandi was a "leader type".

Van Zan beat up an untrained guy, this is the extent of Van Zan's H2H prowess.

Ghandi would beat McClane's ass tho...

And Voldemort's...

And Doc Manhattan's!!!

Gandhi II, yes. Not original Gandhi.

No, I don't. You are leaving out the specifics/variables here. Zan's average is higher than McClane's. Fact.

Leader type in this environment, with his portrayal in the film, physique all together paints a pretty clear picture.

He dominated an untrained guy to the point of humiliation. he'd beat McClane as well.

Zan's best feat is failing to ko an average person, McClane has killed people in HTH.

He's done what?

Stop using double standards, according to your rules, Quinn being able to continue means the fight was a stalemate.

Therefore, Zan's best HTH feat is stalemating an average person, whereas McClane's is killing someone.

Zan was winning the fight up until it was stopped. I never said he won it he just showed he was beyond Quinn. The other example is completely different.

Zan treated him like he didn't exist whereas McClane needs outside circumstances to win more than a few of his hth fights.
