And as for Van Zan having a "elite physique..." I'm sorry, I can't answer that, I'm too busy trying to catch my breath after laughing so hard. While it may be your view of the actor, in the film, it's post-goodthingson earth. There's hardly anything to eat. If a man is mostly muscle under these conditions, it makes him extra sinewy, which you can tell even by the picture Sadako provides, he is. That's certainly not peak condition judging by today's standards.
