i agree, fancy armored suits and helmets>>>bald men with togas and skirts : oÞ

d'antoni needs to be fired. Maybe phil jackson returns to his team, and replaces him...hmmmmm

Guy, do you think it was it a fitting end to a 3-yr storyline?

BTW, I heard Gasol is being traded for 3 mad Celestials and a future 1st round pick.

Bad trade for team owner Franklin Richards. Still, not as much a lop-sided trade as kwame brown for pau gasol

i was only 'wrong' that these weren't popular celestials

Yes, you did say he was the key.

However, in a prior correspondence, I told you that, "I think they're also on par with an experienced + older Franklin Richards."; and you replied, "avatar, tattletale, grown and a kid frankie will b less powerful than the celestials in my humble opinion"

I knew Future Franklin would take this. It's not that he's more powerful than his younger self -- he just has more experience and better control over his powers as an adult.

indeed

and i have said in the past that franklin's potential surpasses any human

and we all should know...lesson for today...with all of frankie's power he has 'died' in the future

he's respected by the celestials

and none of us know how his power compares to tiamut

imho...tiamut>frankie

That's not a lesson really. Characters, regardless of their power status, die all the time! Celestials have been destroyed at various times. Galactus too has 'died' on more than one occasion. That's nothing new. As I've said before, Franklin is unusual specifically because his offensive power is on a cosmic scale despite maintaining some human vulnerabilities. That's likely the reason why one of the Mad Celestials kept referring to him as an anomaly. Anomaly is a perfect word for him I think.

Yes, he's respected by the Celestials. We already know that. But here, in F4# 604, we have seen him defeat Celestials with a mere wave of his hand. There wasn't even a battle. They were clearly afraid. "Danger.. Danger.. Doom"

Whether or not Franklin can defeat Tiamut is a moot point really. The fact that he was able to so easily take down THREE MAD CELESTIALS within a few minutes (or even less) is staggering.

moot how friend

lets see frankie try against the celestials not mad versions

and to me its fun either way

scene a few pages, lets see the rest

someone already has 🙂

Quite a few people in this very thread have already stated that there is little evidence to suggest the 3280 Celestials are not on par with their 616 counterparts. And even you acknowledged that they are/were immensely powerful.

Considering the manner in which Adult Franklin so easily defeated the 3280 Celestials, I think he would certainly be a formidable opponent against our well known 616 versions. I mean.. he just waved his hand and it was over for the Mad Celestials. Even I wasn't expecting such a quick victory on his part.

Only 5 pages are available online now. See them here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=11710

Rest will available next week.

Ole Guy222 is just that damm good

I'd be interested in how Franklin and Galactus interact in #405 and in the future. Hickman also said he was going to reveal more of the Big G's role in the universe, I wonder if he actually did.

You're right. He did promise to show more of Galactus' origins and his specific role in the universe. Hmm. Hasn't happened yet though.

I'm also curious what the Mad Celestials meant by "Galactic Constant" when referring to Franklin. What exactly does that mean?

Heh...
