Galactus vs The Celestials...

^ It's all pretty straight forward, tbh. In a nutshell...

-Adult Franklin merely BFR'd the mad Celestials at the beginning of the comic, in order to buy him enough time to gather young Franklin's energy.
-Adult Franklin begins battling the Celestials--after destroying one of them, he realizes that he cannot defeat the rest by himself, so he resurrects Galactus.
-Galactus proceeds to kill another Celestial.
-The last remaining Celestial owns Galactus.
-Franklin preforms a kamikaze attack on the Celestial, killing he and it in the process.
-Galactus revives Franklin.
-end

Clear as mud?

Ok... I think the law of conservation of energy got raped several ways til Sunday for that to work... but ok.

Also, funny thing I found out while I was looking through older issues...

The Ultimate Nullifier that Eson was hit by was the 616 Nullifier. So ya.

Who is Eson, and how do you know?

If so, that is... Pretty amazing.

Eson the Searcher. He's was the leader of that group. He was the only constant there (due to art, as one showed Tiamut and Arishem there along with him).

Because Val grabbed the UN from the Baxter Building and handed Gray Reed it. Which he used to shoot Eson.

Interesting. I'm going to have to reread this event. I have a feeling there are more tid-bits then I realized the first time around.

It's beginning to dawn on me (all this taken into consideration) just how powerful the combined Celestial really was, and the Sun Anvil as well.

Really good act, for all parties imo. None got left in the dust and the great cosmic battle wasn't solved by a headbutt.

My theory was that that's how Exitar was created, and he stayed merged.

But ya, no one was shit on. Quite rare in today's comics.

This act put the words "more powerful then the fourth host combined" into some new light, and a theory that is most likely the case, comparing the two's size to one another.

😆

But yeah it does, I didn't expect the last act to have such a satisfying conclusion. I was thrown off by the previews thinking "well that sucked, another marvel cosmic event down the drain."

Is it true that there are no lesser celestials.. they all have the same power?

If Galactus owned one celestial.. but got owned by another one... what does that say about Powerlevel.. they are bascially on par with one another? Is that how the story came across?

Also, another kamikaze attack to end a fight.. really... doing that to Odin wasn't enough...

Hickman knows how to do it right. From start to finish this event was as well done as it gets.

Once you read the comic you'll find that comparing Franklin's final attack to Odin's headbutt is... Funny, to say the least. This story was excellent.

It seems more like the average Celestials are around the same power level, with exceptions.
Tiamut, Arishem, this Alternate Eson, Scathan, etc.

Also, Galactus didn't get owned, he just got blasted. There's no indications that he's out or anything.

There's was an actual battle before the kamikaze attack, among other differences.

I see

Ooo I thought he was out of the fight and that is why Franklin had to do his thing....

True, but the ending was the same bs like headbutt attack that ends the fight....

The writer is flawed.

Well, basically, it goes like this

Combined Celestial>>>Prepped Galactus>>4 individual Celestials>>3 individual Celestials>Adult Franklin Richards with young Franklin's powers>>2 individual Celestials>"Exitar" helmet Celestial>Revived Galactus>1 Celestial

...I think.

Sol's Anvil slightly below or slightly above the Combined Celestial, depending on how much value you place on a 1 shot but no-kill weapon.

In that case, I wish Franklin and Galactus did their own merging into:

FRALACTUS OR GANKLIN 💃

That entity will kick anybody's a$$ short of the LT!

At the end of that sentence, I half expected Road Runner to suddenly zoom in from the >> and come to a perfect halt, whilst Wiley Coyote ran >> past him and off of a cliff.

Anyway, Galactus for the win. He Nullifies everything in his path.

Adult Franklin, with the added power of young Franklin (which equates to two universal powers rolled up in one), wasn't a match for the individual mad Celestials, and had to resort to a kamikaze attack just to stop them.

The mad Celestials are FAR more powerful than most gave them credit for.

Actually, Adult Franklin took down two of the Mad Celestials. He defeated the first one early on, then did the Kamikaze move on the last one. Prior to that, he revived for Galactus, who also defeated one of the Celestials.

And Adult Franklin wasn't using young Franklin's powers during combat. The cosmic ball (encompassing young Franklin's powers) placed within himself was used specifically to revive Galactus.
