Yeah, I'm actually interested as to what he'll bring out next lol. Also that was a terribly written fanfic, why would Frieza's blast knock bardock into another timeline when Buu or Cell's didnt have the same effect? Also, wouldn't that screw up some things, like I don't know.... a random super saiyan bardock running around killing frieza's family lol? It just didn't make sense lol.
EDIT: Truth is this fight would never happen. Both are pretty much the same guy. Both pure hearted, stowaways from a doomed planet, super strong aliens raised by humans since infancy, defenders of Earth. They'd probably pat each other on the back, and end up going to a China buffet. And even if they did fight, they'd be holding back, as to not destroy the Earth.
Put this into perspective:

Vegita's walk around power level at the time was 18,000, and 25,000 when powered up. Super Saiyan 4 Goku hits the 1 billion mark. That's enough energy output to destroy the solar system over, and over, and over again. It all depends on if Supes can take that kind of punishment.
Goku can sense powerlevels, and mask his own. He'd know where Superman is, and how powerful he is. Superman, on the other hand, wouldn't know who he was up against. How would Clark know that when Kararot points his fingers at him, he's not just being rude, he's about to blow him to Kingdom Come?
*Scenario 3 (NO ONE WINS): Goku senses Superman's power from afar, and sees that he is no match for him. Goku uses instant transmission to take them both as far from planet Earth as possible and decides to sacrifice himself up, blowing himself up and everything around him. That means goodbye to any nearbye yellow stars as well.

4. Kararot decides to show himself to Kal El. Superman decides to speed-bust Goku on sight before Goku has a chance to say "I'm Goku and I'm from Earth!"
But like I said before, these two would never fight. They are mirror images on two separate plains of reality. They would shake hands, and use the dragon balls to help eachother get back to their respective realms of existance.

Prove that a destructo disk would work on Superman. Cell no-sold it, but apparently doesn't do too well with planet-busters. Supes has taken several planet busters and survived.
Goku has never destroyed a sun or a solar system, and superman has survived worse. He's survived an explosion equivalent to 50 supernovae. One supernova is enough to destroy an entire solar system.

Gt isn't canon. Akira didn't write it. Also if you want to use gt, you should know that Baby was destroyed by the sun, and he was no-selling super saiyans up to II iirc. However, the attacks themselves are unimportant if they are unable to reach their mark.
Also yes, superman can take that. He's taken solar system busters+ at least twice that I can remember off the top of my head.

Superman can see souls and every aspect of the electro-magnetic spectrum, so I doubt that ki/chi would be a stretch for his sensory powers. I'm not saying that he can sense ki/chi in the same way that Goku can, just that such an ability would not be a game changer. This much has been shown on panel. He can also outpace light with his eyes and reaction time. It doesn't matter what goku senses or doesn't sense, he's not faster than light, so he can't react to a speed blitz from superman.
Also, if Goku bfr's himself from the battlefield with instant transmission, it's an instant loss anyway.

I would be inclined to believe this, they probably would, but if they fought, Superman would win.

The first small blast that kid Buu shot was a planetary blast and Vegeta deflected it. The second blast wad much much more. Buu put a lot of power into that blast. Why would Buu shoot another planetary blast when we have Vegeta deflecting the first one with ease.? The second blast...Earth disintegrated...there wasn't even a piece of dirt left after the attack. It was much more than planetary and like I've said before, its not the destruction of the blast that killed them, its who the attack is coming from. I feel pretty much safe at saying that Surfer can kill Thor with blasts that wouldnt destroy the planet they are fighting on and I feel safe at saying that Superman has been damaged on multiple of occasions by blast that didn't lay waste to a planet let alone a city or a building.

Like I've stated before, DBZ blast ARE light speed. These same light speed attacks has been deflected with ease by Goku and Friends...they have even been dodged point blank range.

Then the fact that the more powerful you are the faster your blast power is, is a standard for DBZ. Example, Piccolo was capable of redirected/knocking all of Frieza blast out of the air during Frieza first transformation. Piccolo couldn't even react to Frieza attack during Frieza last transformation due to a power jump.

Same with Vegeta. Vegeta was helpless against Frieza and couldn't react or see any of Frieza attacks until he got a power jump. He was basically outpacing Frieza blasts to its location (shown in the upper scans).
DBZ characters basically got so fast that they were able to beat their blast to its location. Here we have Gohan and Krillin shooting a blast at Guildo... Guildo freeze time, turn around and what do we see...Gohan and Krillin outracing their own attack in the blink of Super Human eyes.
