I liked the ending, as well. I did not think
Spoiler:
showing Alfred seeing Bruce at that cafe was lame. I do not agree that the camera should have cut away when Alfred looked surprised and smiled. It would not have been more artistic or added more by making the viewer "think". If only they would not have done that convoluted crap about whether or not Batman lived when we clearly saw him in the cockpit while supposedly over the Ocean. What my 14-year old Nephew said was Batman jumped out as he approached that tall building OR Batman had two "The Bats" and one was set to auto and the other he flew. His second theory does not add up but his first seems like it is plausible. Still, we should not have to come up with explanations for how the plot can work: that's the job of the story teller.

Batman Begins we definitely a great film. It is one of the very very few films I own on Blu-ray.
I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who didn't use spoiler tags when discussing this brand new movie.
I now know that
Spoiler:
Talia is in the movie, the detective's name is Robin, and Bane and Talia die.
I haven't been able to see TDKR yet, and I know all of the spoilers.
EVERYONE PLEASE USE SPOILERS FROM NOW ON!

I avoid threads for movies I don't want spoiled...specifically because they will be riddled with spoilers. I think it's best to avoid not reading a thread for a movie you want to see, even as a mod, until you've seen the movie. The exception would be officiating in your moderating capacities, of course.
It's just lame to have to use spoiler tags in a thread that will obviously contain spoilers: I used them, anyway, out of respect for those who want to see the film and NOT have it spoiled. Some people get more enjoyment out of a film when someone tells them, "Hey...dude...pay close attention to Bane's mask throughout the film: there is a secret symbol on it that only fans will be able to pick up!" That's the kind of stuff people come to these threads for: not to have the movie spoiled. I understand that, so I use spoiler tags.

I had no idea that you went through the thread and added spoiler tags. I think moderating is best done by single adult males who have no social life. That's about what it takes on a busy forum.
Peach is the exception: she's just boss.
My wife and daughter are out with friends doing female things. I prefer to sit here in my air conditioned house on my first Sunday off in over a month and do nerdy things.
Truth be told, I tried to go to see TDKR last night, but it was sold out for all showings. I think I'm just going to wait about a month to go see it. I mean, that's what I did for The Avengers, too. I already know all of the best spoilers, so I might as well go read the Wiki entry for shits and giggles.

Hmm, that would make it
Spoiler:
rather ambiguous. And I don't think people would have been happy with it. After all, Nolan got quite a bit of flak for Inception's ending.

sometimes people just want to see it all played out. I enjoyed seeing Bruce and Selina together at the end, and seeing Alfred get his wish. Also agreed about the how batman got out of the Bat.

I would really like for someone to explain why they enjoyed Catwoman's role.
The soundtrack is honestly a GOAT contender.
I can admit TDKR had plot holes but it was still overall very good.
As for how I would rank the villains(I do give some spoilers below)
Spoiler:
1) Bane(by a little) - I absolutely loved what they did with him and how Hardy played him. Yeah the voice was goofy sometimes but other times it works very well. This maybe a more personal choice for me because I've always liked Bane better than the Joker.2) Joker - Don't think I need to explain too much here. Just a great portrayal.
3) Ras A Gul - Liam Neeson turns in his standard epic mojo.
4) Scarecrow - Doesn't do much but I enjoyed him on the screen and definitely his moments in TDKR.
5) Harvey Dent - Would have liked him better had he had more screen time as a villain.
6) Talia - Not a very noteworthy villain, honestly I think it was Bane that carried her through most of the stuff. She does get kudos for the betrayal scene which I thought was pretty well done even if I think the Talia sub-plot probably wasn't needed.

Selina Kyle stands for being a whiny self-entitled brat?
