I think the only reason I am not as pissed is because coipel drew that.

Thor does look awesome under Coipel.

I think I'm starting to grow resistant to seeing people use Thor as a measuring stick though. So I'm not as affected by it anymore. It's just my child hood and current hero after all. To whom I've spent countless hours making videos for, defending, sharing, and enjoying. I shouldn't be mad that writers get to use him as a universal punching bag in this story just to try and make other characters look good because they lack the skill to produce a story that doesn't involve using the most powerful hero in Marvel to get the ignorant masses attention by spitting on his history as if he had little more purpose than to make other worthless piece of &^&* characters look good.

So anyways I really don't have anything to be upset about, and I will sit back and enjoy the fresh and creative ides by the very capable writers holding the pen for him right now. 🙂

Nope legit, she got like a dozen birds to attack the Iron Man droid.

No, still sounds hilarious. A dozen birds? What the **** is that droid made out of? Paper?

To add more fuel to the fire, lets not forget that it seems Thor and everyone else on the strike team where wearing armor cooked up by Tony to help against the phoenix 5. So that means an amped (granted we don't know by how much) Thor got one shoted by someone with one fifth of the phoenix's overall power.

Oh I agree its hilarious, just saying it did happen. The birds really didnt do much to Iron Man anyways

I think people are overreacting. First of all - we dont know that he was koed. Second - what makes you think it's 1/5th of Phoenix force? I dont think they each got a portion of the power. More like they all can tap into the same source.

this is the same shit i was saying, they are just heralds of the pheonix force like silver surfer is herald of galactus, does silver surfer have 1/5 galactus power??
no.

they have at the very most tiny fractions of power from it

How did T'challa react to the news? I like T'challa but reading this event is a chore for me 🙁

Which book featured Thor's defeated by the Phoenix?

pretty much every tie in thor appears in.

* never in my wildest dreams did i imagine a Cyclops versus Thor... only in AvX, haha...

* anyway, T'Challa made a good point... did any of them argued that Thor is too powerful to be trusted? same as their other powerful members like Sersi, Hercules, etc... it might be a Civil War II...

* the main story is "meh", but the moral issues they are bringing up is actually more interesting --- on how each character would react on the issue... my thumbs down is going up for AvX...

Do you know what the Avengers need?

Reed Richards. He'd solve that shit out.

My consolation is that they still decided to write an intelligent T'challa. He's an outsider, not a random lackey for Tony and Steve.

I like how the first half was the X-Men being dog**** retarded.

And the second half is apparently the Avengers being really retarded.

It's quite the back and forth tug of war.

Meh screw you guy's that are complaining about the character characterizations for this event, I've been enjoying it.

👆
It's comics for gods sake. Things change. Change is welcome. Sales are high so that tells me there are a lot of long time fans as well as new ones who appreciate & understand the event.

No matter what, its going to be some who are disappointed with something no matter what kind of event it is. Can't please everybody.

this event is so terrible.
