Avengers vs. X-Men - 2012 Marvel Event

Wolverine beats Kid Gladiator (Wolverine and the X-Men #12)

What

Stalemates:

Beast vs. Iceman (Wolverine and the X-Men #12)

What?

Captain America vs. Rachel Summers (Wolverine and the X-Men #12)
Thor vs. Rachel Summers (Wolverine and the X-Men #12)

WHAT!?

AvX 6 was actually quite good. The first installment I agree was terrible but this was a good start.

But with most of these events they rush em and they falls short at the end. The previous 5 chapters and related comics were actually extreme filler and were practically unnecessary. Could've wrapped the first arc in 1 giant sized issue.

Oh well. Scott's conversation with Xavier in Utupio as an old school Xmen fan, especially of the 60's stuff was incredibly morbid. I just wanna see him get his ass kicked now. Which is sad, he was once one of my favs. He still kind of is. Idealistic teen into loveconsumed tragic young adult into desperate egocentric bitter adult.

I liked the Infinite comic as well.

Yep, Beast had this gun that was blowing holes into Ice Man. Then we see them again later on in the issue and their still fighting but Iceman created several minature versions of him and Beast was eating them. We never saw how it ended.

Yep to both. Captain America actually did better then Thor against Rachel. Rachel and Thor's fight ended with Rachel getting the advantage and then Pheonix powered Namor came in and started to pound on Thor.

I wish that Ultron could just show up and start killing all the flesh bags.

Thor has been getting pounded on throughout this entire story arc.

I'm pretty sure Thor is coming out of this with boxer type brain damage at this rate.

At least it's the Phoenox Force in this Saga.

Cthonic Demons in his own solos.

And Galactus and Oblivion in the annual.

Can't say the guy ain't hardcore. That's the price of being Top Dog.

The only question remaining is: how much worst can it get?

I like how the Fantastic Four are just not there. Like they don't exist. Besides Thing... which muddies the waters even worse.

Better this way, since there's no way they can justify Reed Richards, Franklin Richards, and Adult Frank not wiping the force off the face of the Universe.

I would so orgasm if Reed is drag in that shit of an arc and solve it on his own.

The F4/FF don't need to be tainted by this event.

Marvel divides its books into: cool FF stuff and shitty events.

Isnt bendis supposed to leave avengers after this event? Please let him leave.
