"You don't have to slander anyone. I can say whatever I like- it's covered by Senatorial privilege whilst I am speaking in the chamber. Look, this Lennah guy sounds pretty shady to me, hiding behind all this virtual security. What d you think he has done? Use your imagination."

"That could be a whole list of illegal activities," Vera-Kin says. "Hacking and data theft, embezzlement, data corruption... and those are just the virtually-themed options."

"Yes, though on the other hand I can;t just pluck it out of nowhere, especially as you guys will play it straight if anyone asks you. What do you actually think he has done? Convince me."

Well... nothing.

"We think he may have been involved in murder of businesspeople while conducting illegal contraband trade?" Andro ventured this guess that was, possibly, quite close to the truth.

Do you?

We do know that he supported criminal elements with his money! Kuylen and Adelmo are all that 'dark forces' stuff that the Senator said not to use, but they are still criminals through and through.

Lennah would definitely want to hide that.

"Yes, he may have pulled no triggers, but he's certainly a major player with whomever does."

"Ah, you think he was funding organised crime?"

I can get back to Elzair if that's still open.

"Maybe you could tell us a little about him, Elzair," Wentar says. "Tell us some of his habits or preferences. Maybe he told you about places he liked to visit or talk about."

"Yes," Vera-Kin says. "Funding an expedition with a pair of the Galaxy's most wanted qualifies, I'd say."

"... It really doesn't, actually," he says. "Especially as neither were wanted at the time or are currently suspects for any crime in that time period. You want me to go to the Senate and accuse him of funding an expedition?"

-

"He didn't really 'visit' places as such. It was all just work when I was with him- he went to places for business. If he ever took a 'holiday' it was always to be entirely alone somewhere. He'd take no-one with him."

"That doesn't sound quite as dramatic without the criminal elements," Vera-Kin says. "Nor would the Senate care much about what he was looking for or why."

"So, something with a little more punch would be nice..."

Money laundering?

"And he never gave any indication to where he was going?" Wentar thinks for a moment. "Who packed his luggage when he went on these 'holidays', himself or his assistants?"

(May have been a random question but if we can get an idea on what he takes when he goes on these trips maybe it'll lead somewhere.)

Actually, as far as she remembers he didn't bring any luggage.

-

Laundering would be great, but do you really think he was doing that?

Probably has everything he needs at where he goes, guess that means it's a consistent location.

Does he take anything with him at all?

Nothing of any significance.

Tax evasion is definately up his alley, but no I am not sure about the Laundering aspect, butitr is possible for him to be doing it.
