Whether or not we are Jedi, Rand certainly holds the belief that there is no such thing as luck.
If there is nothing more we need to do to prepare, Rand is ready to depart and will be riding with whomever offers him a seat on their ship. He is overall pleased with the team's response to the Jovano threat.
"We did well," Rand says. "We could have done better, but we did well."
"Some of us did better than others," Xavier will say with a joking smile both sides of twisted smile happy with what they did on little sleep.
Is there anyway we could get a map of the Casino using our resources.
Also couldn't one of our allies, perhaps one that can disguise themselves as guards, help with ours?
I also think we should go as rich business men, we need a cover story right, and should also buy dressy suits and elaborate dresses for the women, mostly to see Rianna in a dress 😛
Getting as much information about Robine itself and Merik's casino is a great call.
And obviously we need to kinda develop personas, here. We're not going in as a bunch of crazy evil-doers. So who are we?
Psychos and more combatative types are obviously going to be heavies. Social types are gamblers of sorts? Probably hard to pull off without Gambling...
I say we break into the vault and take all the money Ocean 11s style 😛
How is this for a broad plan. Land on Robine, get into the Casino, meet up with Merrik, get the information from him about who hired him to take us out. Make sure our base's location is secure which probably means killing Merrik and the guys he sent our way and destroying any files he has on us.
We need to also make sure we are not spotted by anyone so we can keep the Bureau from finding us at least not until we get hit.
Maybe we can also use this as a chance to get some extra money and also influence inside of the Republic.

Ok, that's a good A > B > C thing there, and that being so the 'letter' that gives the trouble is C- meet up with Merik.
That's the hard bit As Ascar mentioned, and as your researches can confirm, Merik (as far as can be ascertained) never leaves the top floor of his casino- which is, incidentally, an extremely high golden tower. That's the high rollers' floor, for those willing to throw around enormous amounts of money. Only the very rich get in.
A number of people, over time, consider the benefits of maybe having a 'personal' word with the insanely rich head of an insanely rich casino, and a casino is a place that needs an enormous amount of surveillance anyway. It is filled to the teeth with security- from the cameras to the guards to the electrified external walls high up to the anti-bombardment shield to the anti-ship cannons. Apparently some people from the more disreputable parts of the galaxy get realllly peeved about gambling losses.
There's no walking in there. There's not even any sneaking in there. There is no possible sneaking route. Access to Merik's own offices and quarters is via a single narrow stairway under constant surveillance; access to the high rollers' floor is equally secure (if clients don't like it, they don't play). All air ducts are far too small for crawling. The outside is electro-trapped and has no ways in that open and a structural integrity field that will lock down the whole structure if it is breached.
It's the most secure structure on Robine. Or in that sector.
