It's half a dozen Osokan teams, so about fifty Osokans in all. Ascar doesn't know much about the combat programme other than that the Agency itself has been increasing its defence budget lately.

"Those like yourselves who remain are offering increasingly heavy resistance, I suspect," says Ascar.

He thinks they will arrive tomorrow.

Azarl- you may have a point there, and if you had the Gambling skill you could do this solo.

He got involved in s physical altercation and is refusing to provide any id, which is making the guards very suspicious.

"Well, it seems like those aliens might have started it, to me, maybe they should be asked for explanations? Anyway, if my bodyguard is sloppy, there will be consequences, am I right?" He looks darkly at Xavier, than shrugs and smiles towards the leading guard, his voice becoming closer to whisper. "We from the Empire of Pity know how to enforce the discipline in our organization, so you do not need to trouble yourself."

Galder, could you ask Ascar if Rogan is coming with the Bureau?

Galder thinks briefly of the multitude of Dark Jedi he has met in his time, and wonders if they've done anything to piss off the Bureau. Or if they're still alive.

"That gives us little before things become a mess," Galder says. "No sign of Rogan, I hope. Think you can do some digging to figure out how they were tipped off?"

Well, Gallador's pulled that off!

"Make sure he doesn't cause any more trouble," is how the guard leaves it.

-

"Rogan is on Lanzar, I believe," says Ascar. "But unless you want me to start skulking around Bureau offices like a burglar- which I will not- then no, I'm not getting any more. My position on the Oversight Committee gives me access to their financials and that's about that, unless the Senator demands an investigation, which he won't unless the Bureau makes a public error."

"Alright, alright," Galder says, in response to Ascar's dribble. "I don't expect you to. It's enough that we know they're coming.

"Anything else I need to know?"

Well, is there any sign of Eller around? Can Gallador return to the game?

A future investment maybe, as Azarl learns all the fun customs of the Republic. Including how to make money and abuse the system!

Can Azarl do what Rand did and find a gambler that looks the part, someone comfortable at the tables but that Azarl can sense is in a bad mood?

Xavier merely breaths as Gallador talks before heading back to the table with him.
How does it feel to have the little man save your hide? I bet it felt good Xavier sighs at his inner demon before watching Gallador play.

One of the players or one of the side-betters, Azarl?

-

"It will all go right soon- very soon! says the gambler, Rand, desperately. "You'll see!"

-

Nope, that's it from Ascar, Galder!

"Oh, I have no doubt of that," Rand says. "Why don't you play again, Mister ... ?"

Rand lets the question hang in the air, so that the Gran can give him his name. Once he gets it, he continues.

"I'm curious to watch your technique."

Galder thanks Ascar for the heads up and cuts the call.

"Time to break the news..." Galder grumbles before leaving the ship.

He wants to figure out a way to sneak in our weapons without having to totally sabotage their functionality.

Well, without a cunning amaze-o-plan, that's still down to blind Fix-It rolls.

-

We shall call our gambler Breko! Who is now losing more money.

"Hmm," Rand says to Breko. "I can't say I'm in awe, unfortunately. Have you been gambling long or is this something you're new to?"

I don't really care for blind Fix-It rolls...

An idea I had was finding out a way to bribe security but they're probably paid just enough to keep them from giving in to that.

Yes, you'd have to put a LOT of money into that. You'd be in a big queue.

Then we need to explore security a little bit further, see if we can exploit any loopholes. It's well-staffed and every entrance has those scanners, right?

Would there be any barriers if we just Mind Tricked them?

A possibility to bypass guards inside, but what with that weapon-checking security cordon at the front, you'd never trick the lot of them into letting you through.

There has to be a way to trick the security cordon aside from turning everything off with the risk of not turning them back on. Is it that they detect the metal or that they detect the power signatures of these things?

Dak was supposed to be sneaking around to get us an idea of what their security is like if I remember correctly
