What Newjak said. Could we just use Push/Pull to knock someone into an Osokan discretely? That should piss it off...

That's what happened with Rianna and Xavier earlier too.

If it was discrete, it would indeed work very well. Osokans are not know for their patience.

Rand could very discretely cause something to happen indeed. Maybe knock a drink off a table with Push/Pull onto an Osokan. They would love that!

Well, gimme a final plan and I shall make the rolls!

Final plan: Gallador and Relle finish up with his gambler and start getting him out of here. Rand uses his subterfuge to sneakily knock someone's drink into an Osokan to distract them from Gallador and start a disturbance on this level to draw out Merrik and the Bureau Agents.

Elsewhere, Galder and company take off to engage the Bureau ship...

None of the gamblers will be finished in time.

You imagine once the disturbance starts, there'll be no question of more gambling!

So what I'm hearing is that Gallador needs to finish with his gambler so we need to delay the skirmish long enough for him to do that...

I'm happy to delay if it gains us a wealthy benefactor. That's what will happen, right, Gallador?

Yes, exactly and we can surely wealthy allies in our current state.

Then the plan will be to start the disturbance after Gallador finishes helping his gambler with one final big win.

Like I say, none of the gamblers will be finished in time- the meeting has already started. It will take a good ten minutes or more for the ganblers to get done (on a generous scale) and your location could be out there in 30 seconds.

Meaning if they get the information, our interruption won't actually interrupt anything and Merrik won't come out?

If our disturbance wouldn't actually bring Merrik to us after the info is out, then we need to act now. Gallador's gambler can take the winnings he got (even those from the other gamblers, screw them) and get out of here.

If our disturbance would still bring out Merrik even after the information gets out, then we can hold off.. but we need to make sure that the Agents die before they can get the info out.

That being said, that will be my final stance on that. Rand is going to knock off someone's drink onto one of the Osokans regardless, but it will either happen before or after the info gets to the Agents.

Unless Gallador can convince us to wait, I'm going for it if the Agents are going to get the info and leave before we can finish with the gambling.

Oh, Merrik would still come down, but you have to weigh up the risk of someone knowing your location. What if the Bureau calls it in immediately? Then you are blown. How much are you willing to risk?

We shouldn't wait. Just do it and let's get this over with.
