USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

We should start moving toward the stairs where our target will emerge. So Relle starts to do that quietly while all attention goes to the fight about to break out.

Before the man can fire, the Osokan lashes out. The neurowhip wraps itself around the man's midriff, and he immediately cries out in agony, dropping his gun.

Various security guys are drawing their guns, and the other Osokans are drawing their whips too.

Any pistols in that bunch for Relle?

Rand is going to start moving in the direction of the stairwell also, trying not to draw attention to himself while the casino security staff and the Osokan hunting team prepare to square off.

Rand cringes a bit when the Osokan's victim feels the crackle of a neurowhip, not at all excited to be experiencing the same thing probably soon.

She may be able to dive and grab one at a pinch.

Is that something I could do with Intrusion so as not to draw attention while everyone scuffles?

Indeed!

I'll wait. I want to see where things go first. I'm pretty stealthy but I don't want to risk getting us involved right away.

Well, the main reaction doesn't take long- within a minute, three people come down the stairs from the upper floors. Two are the agents, and the other is a rather pudgy guy that you are pretty sure is Merek...

How close have we gotten?

You should probably try to get those three back in the door and lock it to keep the Osokans out.

Rand will edge closer to the stairs, making his way quietly through the crowd with Relle and Gallador, ready to make his move. He watches the agents closely, making sure they do not notice him until he wants them to.

Can I tell what the Agents are armed with?

Ush, can I use the fact that attention is drawn elsewhere and try to get my guy out? I could use Presence to sneak with him, perhaps?

The main risk there is that it separates you from the others.

-

None of you guys is particularly close to where the Agents are I am afraid- but they are armed with their standard blasters.

Does Gallador's gambler actually need help getting out? It's not like they're after him.

Where are we in relation to everyone? Rand just wants to get closer to the Agents so we can act quickly when we do finally act. But he wants to see what happens before they act.

I indicated to Gallador that his feelings were that there was extreme danger to anyone staying here...

It;s a large circular area. The gambling bits are in the north half which is where you all are. The southern half is the viewing area, dominated by the giant window that gives a view of the whole city. The agents and Merek came down the stairs on the far west side, which is directly between the north and south areas. The way back down, where Gallador is heading, is far east.

The rest of you guys are about midway west/east, on the north side. However, the crowds are mostly around the tables and games. You an only get so close to the agents before it's totally open ground.

Maybe we should be getting into position to kill Osokans and security guards quickly, Rand. Instead of trying to get to the agents.

Ah! A possible alternative. I think I'll give about two days for ideas there and then forcibly move things on.

That would certainly distract everyone from anything Gallador's gambler does, wouldn't it? And then our opposition would be decidedly less.

Again, we have eight Osokans and two dozen guards, yes?

Correct!

This is going to be a close fight. Time to see if my lightsaber works. Rand will want to clear out the shooters before we go toe-to-toe with the pigs.
