USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Could utilizing Advanced Bombard to smash the Osokans with furniture delay or interrupt their attacks in any way? I know they're pretty sturdy but maybe I could drag furniture in the way while simultaneously hurting them.

Otherwise, Rand wants to wipe that grin off of the Captain's face and performs another Fling, sending the pig flying backward. He then uses an Evade against one of the other Osokans (or the Captain, if they get initiative).

Bring in Orthodox Guard for Focused Guard.

Relle will attack Osokan G, spend another point on Evade against an Osokan, then tap Riposte and hopefully spread the damage out.

I think we decided to head for the casino tower so that they're not totally abandoned up there. I'm sure we can shoot our way through the defenses, right?

Possible ideas time!

If Relle used Dash and Defensive Leap to make a crazy jump over to South Area Center, is the door closed or could she go after Merrik? Or at least move up there and find controls to shut down things for Galder and Xavier to fly in and shoot everything up?

And if I did that, would security follow because I'm chasing Merrik or would Rand be left alone with everyone?

I'm afraid there's no useful way of slowing the Osokans beyond Knockback attacks. Maybe if you used Guidance and started pulling the roof down, but that brings its own issues...

-

It's possible to try and bomb it to Merrik but it comes with huge risks. Securing this area is best, though your numbers have ended up relatively low. You certainly want Gallador back ASAP!

Watch, Gallador will come save us... Gross.

Rand, should you focus on the security guards?

Well, I'm surrounded by Osokans...

Ush- what would that achieve, if I tried it? It would take time to pull things down with Super Lift, but worth asking.

Okay, cancel the Evade but tap Orthodox Guard and Riposte, attack Osokan G. Swap EE for DW.

Azarl hops in and gets ready to take off. He follows Galder and Xavier's flight path.

Okay, does my guy have way to run further down now?

Gallador looks around and tries to sense harm for him on the way down.

You'd rate the danger beneath you as extremely high, Gallador. It looks like no-one from that top floor is going to be allowed out.

Rand sends that Captain flying away!

Relle is pushing all out to stay up! She gets a pretty vicious slash in on G and, as he tries to tangle her sabre in his whip, she almost yanks it out of his hand. His martingale glove stops him from dropping the whip, but in that defenceless moment Relle ripostes into its stomach. G goes down. Her made swordwork this turn keeps both other attackers at bay and E takes an injury as well! A desperate Rand stays clear of harm similarly.

But more of them are moving in... and the security guards now have a large group with a clear field of fire. They are the ones starting to land bits on Rand.

Rand- trapped on a high tower surrounded by Osokans, this may seem a bit superfluous, but you are getting a bad feeling about something. Not in the 'mistake' sense, but the 'unexpected' sense.

We need to trim those numbers. I know Relle can get free if she uses Defensive Leap, but does Rand have room to move if he Flings that last Osokan engaged with him or will he just be engaged again shortly?

Because I'm thinking of doing a D-Leap over to North Center and starting a fist fight over there.

Unless Rand shoots it down...

Swap OGU for MA, spend a point on D-Leap, move to North Center. Use Coordination and Balance too.

Is that going to bring every Osokan down on me? I need to clear out more of those mooks... I only have two points left.

Rand will perform an Advanced Saber Throw, sidestepping the Osokans' whips with timed precision and hurling his lightsaber into the large group of security guards. Two feel the bite of his blade and go down before the weapon returns to Rand's hand and he parries an incoming whip.

Tap Cleave.

And swap out Reflection.

Galder will start running scans of the casino's defenses, trying to decide what to hit first. Anything he picks up, he relays to Xavier and Azarl.

"If only you guys were better pilots..." Galder grumbles.

It's a Refresh!

Luckily (or unluckily, depending on which way you look at it), Osokans have, you may recall, an almost unstoppable hunter/pursuit instinct, so whilst it would make more sense for them all to pile in on Rand, half of them will indeed go after Relle. They have to push throw the crowd Relle just sailed over, so that slows them up.

Rand's throw takes down two guards and his cleave immunity soaks up some incoming firepower. But now up against three Osokan opponents, he begins to waver as the neuropenalty bites...

"Tacical! Tactical! Move in!" cries Ezra into his radio, having made contact with whom he was calling.

Well, Galder, as you suspected, you'd need a battlefleet to punch through that shield, and they won't need that to shoot you down with their guns. They had better power off those systems soon...

You are also picking up comms activity from the bureau ship. Looks like they are aware there is trouble.

Since I opted to swap out Reflection before the Refresh, can I choose to Refresh Reflection and Focused Guard? If not, I'm content, but RF should be out.

If I can have refreshed it, swap Cleave out and put a refreshed Reflection in. Tap Orthodox Guard and Reflection.

Rand grits his teeth when the first neurowhip finally makes contact with him, but he refuses to let it break his stride. Once he catches his lightsaber again, he immediately assaults the Osokan Captain with an upward one-handed slash across the face. He then backsteps and flicks away more incoming bolts, letting the security team know that he will not relent on them despite the Hunters assailing him.
