Rand hoists himself out of the lift shaft, glad to finally be clear of the death trap and not smeared along the inside of it. For all his power in the Force, his body has worn down through battle and simply living.

"I need to work out more..." Rand mutters, activating his lightsaber as he steps into the corridor.

He reaches out with the Force to sense for Merik.

Also, stick together. We need Merrik first since nine of us are technical enough to shut things down.

Exactly.

Ok, so all sticking together, and finding Merik via the Force?

If so we'll get going and get rolling on the fighter combat too.

Yes, we really do not have time so we will try to sense him by Force, though Relle has good observation if I remember right, maybe there are traces of his escape.

And yes, we stick together.

We can com the fighter group for pickup?

Well they need the shields down.

We grab Merik and we get those shields down, in that order.

Agreed. Rand will bring up the rear, moving as quickly as his tired old legs will carry him and throwing glances over his shoulder to see Katai's progress.

Wooo we are out of the elevator!

We're probably in a much more dangerous situation ourselves, hah, but a lot more straight-forward.

Ok so here's the rub for Tam Tower- Rand's made a successful force roll to go find Merek- but he thinks he is not, s you might have thought, heading further up, but heading sideways.

The shield generator, however, is at the very top of the building. Any other possible options to deal with the generator need Sabotage or Fix-It, so you have to deal with it the old fashioned way.

How much time do we think it will take for us to reach where Merik is and to reach the top?

I am very wary of splitting up unless there are no other options.

It's roughly even.

Rand and Gallador should go after Merik since we can track him in the Force. Relle should be the one to go after the generator. She's very mobile, she can handle it.

Okay, I quess we could risk this this tactic if Relle agrees.....

We just need it done quick so we can get out of here and not worry about a longer confrontation with Katai.
