USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Azarl vows to help Rand and Gallador develop their Harmonious connection, though he thinks it might be a waste of time for them to try, with how inharmonious the group is.

I could get behind Xavier's explanation. Otherwise merchants traveling in a junker looking for new markets to sell to but not carrying our goods in case we encounter danger. That or we could whip up some junk to carry around, if Ascar will help with that.

It seems we will need to narrow it down to why we don't have any wares, whether we're smugglers or merchants, and which sounds more convincing. Savoir-Faire will help us pull off the act, and we've got some talented Liars in our group.

If we need cargo we could just paint stripes on Rand put a horn on his head and sell him as an exotic animal!

No merchant goes into searching in fringe space with no goods- they go with something to sell in case they find something. When they have no goods, they stay in known space and try to acquire stock.

Of course you don't actually have to have any goods- you just need people to thin you have.

I am afraid the ship is as far as Ascar will help you.

So back to the painting Rand scheme! Seriously though Ush would good lying sell us as smugglers looking for new business opportunities?

Of course if we wonder into officials it becomes lying about lie which could get messy. The idea of simply lying about cargo seems the best way to go about.

On the other hand though we could go bold!!!! We are a traveling group of entertainers that are on the fringe looking for new and exciting prospects! !! !

Think about it Rand and Azral can be the petting zoo, Relle can be the acrobat, Galder can be the clown, Gallador can be the ring leader/front man. Xavier can be the mechanic 😄 Eller could be the fortune teller!

Smugglers don't find business in lawless areas. The entire point of smuggling is to find a demand for something that's against the law.

Fair enough let's be entertainers guys!!!

or Merchants lying about cargo if you want to be boring.

Time's nearly up!

Okay, desparate merchants who have fallen on hard times and look for new markets far away? I believe that we asked for Savoir-Faire rolls to know what could be traded in that part of galaxy.

Edit - Or we could be an expedition of explorers.

I am not sure how much it matters, our enemy is likely a very powerful Force user, he will know of our coming, propably.

And Adelmo will know where are we going from Eller?

We don't have to be down on our luck. We just need to be looking at new markets and lie that we have cargo.

This works.

I can agree with that. Pretty simple to pull off.

Although I like Xavier's traveling circus idea.

Yes let's do the traveling circus spice it up some.

As amusing as that would be (and I'll admit I laughed at it), traveling merchants would keep it simple as far as explaining why we're out there. Let's just say we're carrying parts or wares.

I think that's it then! Load up and get going. If anyone wants to PM Con (Bardock) to take a place in the camper van, go for it.

Shot him a message.

Galder give the old junker that Ascar gives them a once-over, walking around the old vessel and checking its readouts on a few maintenance panels before heading inside.

"It's definitely not the Paladin[i]," Galder sighs. "Or the [i]Raging Reek..."

He saunters into the cockpit and gets the systems ready while everyone else boards and prepares themselves for the long flight out to the coordinates a dead gambler gave them.

Con will first hang out with Xavier as he is prone to do. "Oh boy, you will not believe the stuff I got up to without you guys...it was crazy...story for the ages." He will not elaborate further. "So, whatever happened to your ride, Xav? Not sure this is an upgrade."

Can Con get in on the Savoir Faire rolls as well?

Certainly can!

Xavier is running diagnostics on the ship to make sure we aren't getting ready to fall apart. As always Con is tagging along for some reason which Xavier tolerates until Con brings up his ship, "My ship... it got destroyed on our last outing." Xavier will make sure to fill Con in on all that happened while he was away doing whatever.

Alright, then we're off! You'll be away from civilization for a while.
