USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

I am not sure whether or not we should pursue Ogros. We know that things are not going to go well for us and that it is dividing up the group... but that means whatever happened there might happen closer to the base.

(Not that we know what, but I can see Ogros and his Epireans and the droidekas and flamethrower guy showing up to attack the base directly)

One thing is for certain. Xavier should be in the control room. He has the highest Fix-It score.

That's not necessarily a bad thing - remember how it took me almost all of my Force and a lot of damage to get back up the mountain path while being attacked? It's essentially a bottleneck there. If we let them come to us, we can set up the attack to our advantage. Not to mention things like dropping part of the mountain on them...you've started avalanches before...😛

That is true. I really would prefer to have everyone at or near the base.

Where did the poison gas come from? Were there cannisters in the ventilation system or was it the air supply outside that was poisoned? In which case where is the outside air supply, that would be a prime place for us to keep surveilance at so that we can ambush them maybe?

Whilst one of those is true, you were never informed.

What about making it so that when they hack the external sensors, they THINK they get control but they don't?

They'd be extremely stupid not to notice that what they are doing isn't happening.

You're making some fundamental mistakes in assuming how they act. You really have to look at this from their point of view. Remember what I said about cascading changes.

If their planned attempt doesn't work, they surely have contingencies. We even saw that, in how they had poison gas, two inside operatives hunting people down, several outside operatives covering the entrance-exit, and the bomb. These people aren't committing to one plan and running away if it doesn't work.

We ought to figure out how to use that to our advantage.

We can't dissuade these guys. We have to destroy them, or they will destroy us. And that will suck.

Rescuing the surrounding Epirean villages would be advisable. More epireans means more numbers against Ogros.

Something kinda bugs me, though. We set up an ambush against Ogros, yet he managed to get droidekas on the site anyway, as well as epirean reinforcements. To some degree, he's expecting us.

Furthermore, fighting in the jungle is giving him the home field advantage. We need to get that jerk on our terms.

You are absolutely correct that Ogros is strongest in the jungle, and his combat value is drastically reduced at your base.

He won't fight on your terms.

Exactly they have multiple plans ready to go. I was thinking of waiting with a ship but I bet they have something planned for that as well.

I still say an idea we could use would make it so they think their initial plans are working so we lure them into position thinking that they will get the same results from the dream.

How the heck would you actually do that?

I don't know it was just a thought.

Also what are we planning on doing with the Eperians?

I do have to emphaise again that these people are not battle droids, and you may also wish to remember that they know exactly who you are.

I think in order to fool them into thinking their plan has worked, you'd have to be so convincing that... it actually worked.

For example- are you going to be so convincing that you let them kill all of your Epirean guards?

Oh, meant to answer the vent system question- yes you can shut the ventilation off. The lower base areas would become uninhabitable but it would probably take days.

Well that depends I guess on where we think our best chances are of taking them out. If we think our best chances are once they are actually inside the base then I would say yes we let them kill the guards. If we think our best chances are meeting them with an ambush before they get in the base then no we get out there and fight with them.

So I am thinking the first thing we could change that would result in them altering their plans is preventing them hacking our system by isolalting the external sensors. Now they may simply hack in through another route or may change their plan entirely. The latter would mean all our info is then useless. So do we let them hack our systems or not?

Can we determine how exactly they got to our base unnoticed? There are not that many entrances, I think.

Can we get reinforcements from Epirean settlements by using ships?

Galder doesn't think we should go after Ogros but they may think something is up if we don't.

Edana needs to think. She sits down on the floor in the doorway to Eller's room and explains to Eller what the situation is and all the details from her dream. "I think we need your help. We obviously need to act or we're all going to die but these people who've been sent to kill us are smart and it's hard to know what impact anything we do may have on their plans. Can you help us here in anyway? I'm sorry, I wish I understood a little more about how your talent works - we must all seem so rude ignoring you while we're precocuppied with our own little dramas."

Galder will sit in with Edana, if she doesn't mind. He knows not to ignore visions after what Takuan saw of the Mausoleum.

Precision ship operations are very hard near the mountain because of your defence shield. You can also only carry small numbers. It's easier to walk them.

There's only one entrance!

Sadly, Eller cannot help- the stones have not said anything about this to her yet. She's very interested in this dream of yours though- a vision in which you saw another prediction?
