USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

I think we should determine how we're setting off the traps, if we set them.

And for Azarl protecting Relle, is that just so we can molest the hunters as they come up? Or to prevent them doing something?

Not that I'm opposed, I got Bodyguard for this sort of thing. I just don't want to be shot up for no reason before any of them actually get up the mountain.

I think the idea was for Azarl to protect Relle while she snipes back at the sniper once they make their way up to the top...

I don't think the plan was to pull Epireans out of the guard posts, but instead just from the settlements.

And the entrance to the base is not on the mountain path but on the opposite side of the mountain, correct? Rianna had to make it up the path and then go around, when the jetpack hunter attacked her.

That's more or less the impression I had of the layout, yeah. I made it to the top of the path but then still had a bit to go to reach the actual base entrance.

Oh that might be the case. In which case perfect.

And I think Firak is evacuating the settlements and leaving us the 50. I don't know if that includes what we use already.

We should keep in mind that the Epireans don't like the high lower pressure atmosphere of the mountain. Will that affect their ability to fight?

Do we want EVERYONE at the top of the path? Or do we want some people to stay by the entrance just in case we have hunters sneak by and get in?

Galder will be at the top with the Epireans regardless, to coordinate them. I mean, they can't fight through fifty Epireans... could Galder manage to set the

As for the hunters...

We had the Sniper. He had Eagle Eye and Marksman, and a high Guns pool.

We had Flamethrower. He had Hi-Tech Armor and a wrist-mounted flamethrower.

We had Staffy. He had his Electrostaff that ignored Armor, Power Attack, Whirling Strike, Duck, Focused Blow, and was wearing Hi-Tech Armor and had the poisonous dart launcher.

We had Big Gun, who had 10,000 Bolts and wore Hi-Tech Armor and had that gigantic gun.

We had Hacker, who had Both Guns Blazing and Close Quarters Gunman, as well as those little shields on his forearms that gave him extra Defense in melee.

And Jetpack, who had his Hi-Tech Armor and his jetpack.

I'm sure they had some more tricks up their sleeves...

I did say originally to have some people (those who can attack at range) to hang back a bit further in case someone gets past.

Sounds like something for Relle and Con to do...

I agree, they should be at the actual base entrance.

Ush, how close it is between the top of mountain and actual entrance to the base? several hundred meters?

Also the guy on the jetpack can obviously bypass our defence.

At the top- no more than a hundred, though as noted the path doesn't lead straignt into the entrance; you need to move around.

And it cannot think of any way for them to get to the base without going through the main path, the entrance, and us spotting them?

We still have few skiffs, yes?

Well there are always ways if you are creative enough. I can't control what you think of though.

You have some utility vehicles, yes.

You have some utility vehicles, yes.

And these vehicles would allow us to move through the mountain path several times quicker than on foot?

We should have few vehicles with us, so we can move up and down if alerted by Epireans on guard posts.

What would the goal be with using the utility vehicles?

Galder wants to survey the other side of the mountain, from the base entrance side. What does it look like? How difficult would it be to simply scale it? Either for Epireans or bounty hunters.

Though I'm pretty sure they're taking the mountain path, just want to set Galder's mind at ease with the idea that they could come that way.

No, the vehicles are way slower on the path than on foot. It's an awkward climb.

You'd rate it extremely difficult, Galder. Hard enough that you had no intention of trying anything of the sort against Doon; he'd have picked you off with ease.

Then I'm not going to worry too much about it in our planning.

Now, in the dream, they jammed our comms without messing with our system. Is that correct?

Yup.

Meaning that, however they got here, they probably had a jammer with them. Something that could jam all of our comms would have to be powerful and probably big, yes?

Oooh, I forgot about that, that's going to screw with the idea of leaving comms with the guard posts...

Well, remember how on Newhaven Xavier jammed the Bureau's transmitter with his own comm? I doubt it necessarily has to be anything that big...

Maybe we can rig some sort of counter-jammer so that when they try to use theirs, nothing happens. Or at least make us able to fight back.

Ah, jammer jamming...

Note it didn't work perfectly- specifically, Edna at the control room was still able to receive intermittent messages. It has its limits, because indeed they aren't carrying a giant piece of equipment.

Xavier can work on strengthening our signals to help keep them from jamming.
