USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

You don't have breathing thingies.

So the traps you want to set up will be unsupervised, yes?

Yeah. We should certainly not waste any of us to watch them, unless anyone thinks we can spare a few Epireans for that. I'm really not too concerned about that, though.

I'm worried about leaving the guard posts without us there to help, I'm also weary about letting them get to the base. For one if could create more damage to the base and I figure our main goal should be trying minimization that.

I actually wouldn't mind splitting us up maybe in pairs and giving us groups of Eperians to help hold down the Mountain path.

Also I don't really want the Eperains left alone because if that happens their ability to help us is really lessened imo.

Xavier can remain in the control room because we will need to be able to communicate and deal with their hacker.

Also having somebody ready in a plane to take off and help with the forces should certain rolling droids come after us might be helpful as well.

Also should we be worried about them bringing down the shield generator at all?

Depends if you think it gets the anything.

I see we still have a lot of disagreement here. Someone will have to sort it before they get the drop on you.

Being as my plan involves stopping them at the top of the mountain path, which is not yet at the base...we wouldn't be letting them get to the base.

We need to stay together as much as possible to deal with these guys, they destroyed us when we were all split up.

Ok can we take a straw poll? Spread out over the mountain approach or stay concentrated near the top? Your vote includes your Epireans; please only vote one way or the other as you have no time for prevarication.

Concentrated at the top.

Let's be concentrated.

Cocentrated, I like Rianna`s plan, though we could have one or two people on the skiffs and good obsevation skill supervising guard posts on the path. However, the observation points should be also close to the top, so we can spot them and make ambush at the top, using better high ground position. I like the avalanche idea.

Ush, would using a ship for observing the path to our base be reasonable approach?

I support staying concentrated at the top. Galder will be able to better coordinate the Epireans if they're all together. Setting traps sounds good as well; Galder's higher Survival skill can help with that.

We could try making pitfalls and stuff.

'Reasonable' in that circumstance is too broad for me to answer. I've already mentioned use of ships. Though I will mention that your ships can't be used to help fight at the top of the mountain as that's within the shield generator.

I meant using ships for scouting the enemy's approach, not for fighting.

I don't know if that'd be a great idea, really; they'll see us coming before we see them, and none of us are great pilots.

Yeah, I don't want to use the ships. It won't be useful.

Here's a question I have for you guys, do you think any of the people we saw were responsible for the Reactor Bomb? I'm assuming there is one sneaky guy around on their team we may have not seen.

So should we post someone to guard the reactor room seeing as that is something we want to protect at all costs?

There is sneaky and there is invisible. It's often a mistake to try and make something more complicated than it needed to be- why add in another sneak when that's not necessary to cover what went on?

It might benefit you to try and work through precisely what happened in the vision, but only in certain ways.

I also support concentrating our efforts! Woo.

Well, I am going to rule that if there is no set plan by the end of the week, they attack you unprepared.

Okay... planning time. Feel free to point out anything I have missed or that you think should be added.

I want a few people with decent Survival scores to boobytrap the mountain path. Rianna has mentioned pre-arranging avalanches that we can trigger. This way the way up is hazardous for them. Obviously it won't stop them but it will give them trouble.

I want the external sensors disconnected entirely. Without Sabotage, we can't boobytrap them.

I want an Epirean or two in each guard post on the way up the mountain path. Rand will have them equipped with comlinks so they can notify us of the approaching bounty hunters as they go, so that we can trigger traps or just keep track of their positions.

(How many guard posts do we have?)

I want Xavier in the control room. If I can get volunteers for those that want to stay with him, I would appreciate if I could get at least one. Maybe two.

Everyone else I would like waiting for the enemy at the top of the mountain path. The small Epirean force that we've collected from Firak will be located here. I want them to stay hidden and in cover for as long as possible so that the bounty hunters don't shoot them apart on the approach.

Relle- since you have Eagle Eye- I want you to counter the sniper. Azarl- I want you defending her.

I want everyone to be in hiding at the top of the mountain path if possible, so that we can ambush the bounty hunters when they arrive. I realize that not everyone has Intrusion so that may need tweaking.

I don't want the bounty hunters to be able to gang up on anyone.

Anything to contribute? Any holes in the plan?

-

Let's also examine Edana's dream some.

How did the bounty hunters get the gas cannisters into the vents?

How did they get someone down into the reactor room? Did the breach happen before they started attacking us or after?

We should also take stock of what each bounty hunter was capable of, based on their Devices and the schticks they exhibited. If someone wants to list that out, it would be valuable to keep in mind.

And for clarification, just in case it gets missed in that wall of text...

How many guard posts do we have going up the mountain path?

And the entrance to the base is not on the mountain path but on the opposite side of the mountain, correct? Rianna had to make it up the path and then go around, when the jetpack hunter attacked her.
