if thats the instance that people are talking about with hulk breaking Dr Strange's hands that people keep talking about......it's meaning less and has no bearing on this fight. The only thing is the vision scans you showed. He wasn't "damaged" though he was stuck inside of the hulk due to the hulks ability to overpower him with his anger like he does bruce. iirc Vision goes intangible by making his molecules less dense which is not in the same way MM does and he was not able to touch strange. so going off of this MM has the tools to win. Im just afraid that in character j'honn is going to go straight for hulks mind. Though his speed, shifting, and(until proven to me hulk can grab him with his particular Intangibility) his phasing makes him a hard opponent for hulk.

Yeah, I've read the fictional form of J'onn being discussed here that will somehow use all of his abilities in a way that makes him cease to be the Martian Manhunter as comics portray him.
Fantasy J'onn might be able to beat WBH, yeah.

OP DOES say CIS off, and we auto assume PIS off, so yeah, I would guess you could term it Fantasy J'onn......

CIS off means characters don't forget their powers in situations where they would normally remember them.
CIP (character induced power (should be inhibited)) is still on meaning that MM's character is still in play. he's not going to be fighting "tourney style" here, just without the usual forgetfulness he usually exhibits in his many humble showings.
for example: in that annihilation comic where surfer said he [could create singularities within the pupils of his enemies], that was not CIS but rather CIP since he knew he could do it, but refrained form such a tactic cause he is in character. if this was a tournament well.....

Which character of J'onn will you go for? The 'Jolly Green Buddha' persona as named by Flash (or maybe it was GL)? The more militaristic, no-nonense J'onn we saw pre-Final Crisis? The persona where he turns his inhibitions off, i.e. Fernus mode? Or the DCnU version who (seems?) to be willing to do what it takes for the greater good?
Usually, I agree, CIS does not equal suddenly someone like Surfer is creating singularities at the speed of light or whatever. But recently (in the last 10 years or so) J'onn underwent quite a radical overhaul of his characteristics.
