Turned it off when he started yelling like a retard, or about 30 seconds in.

This was a tragedy and shouldn't of happen. This is a case of judging a book by it's cover and the judgement is wrong. I really don't want to look at it from a race perspective, but you can't help but wonder if race played apart in it. Either way Zimmerman was wrong for casting judgement on this teen, which was doing nothing and in a result lost his life. Was it murder? it's hard to say if you wasn't there, but only one person really knows the truth, the other is dead. The fact that Zimmerman lied several times is and indicator, that more went on then what is being said. The defense are trying to make it seem like Zimmerman was completely inferior physically compared to Trevon. If that was the case then why did Zimmerman get out of his car to confront Trevon in the first place. The only answer I could think of, is Zimmerman had a his gun on him and was willing to use it, which he did. If Zimmerman never had a fire arm on him, he would of stayed in the car like he was told, but Zimmerman want it to take matters in his own hands, which he did. The gun made his so call disadvantage a trump card and he knew it, the defense knows it and hopefully the jury does to.
Not sure about this site:
But, apparently, the attorney general for Florida fired her IT Director because he whistle-blew on their handling of the Zimmerman case. They witheld evidence such as pictures of Martin holding a handgun, MJ, and texts of a gun sale.
I remember there being a fuss on 4chan because they hacked some systems and got that information. I don't remember, however, that information being in any major news sources.
This is the first I am hearing about this possible misconduct and mishandling of the case

none of those pictures would have been pertinent to the case or admisable as evidence.
I don't think I agree and that decision would have been up to the judge. Based on all the things she's let through, I don't see why the judge would bar the defense from submitting evidence that shows Martin was not the upstanding "student". One of the main things the prosecution has done is tried to demonstrate that Martin was a good kid. If there was clear evidence, forensically recovered from Martin's phone, that show he wasn't the picture the prosecution wanted to paint, yes, that would change things. And that's probably why they wanted to keep it underwraps: it would be admitted and create a massive blow to the "character" they were trying to build for Martin.
They tried to build that character for Martin to show that Martin was the one crying for help...not the one that attacked Zimmerman. The case literally hinges on that. They want Zimmerman for murder. Central to that is building Martin's character.

the prosecution wanting to hide things that make their case less strong is hardly a shock.
It should be shocking since, you know, it is unethical.

... /shrug it wouldn't be admisable, not sure what to tell you, Martin isn't in trial and none of those things are relevant to the facts of this case. there was no debate about toxicology or whether Treyvon was armed

It would have been admissible and that decision would have been up to the judge, I don't know what to tell you. The prosecution has literally built a case around Martin being a good boy and Zimmerman attacking a good boy. Those facts not disclosed to the defense are relevant to the case.
What does it matter?
The fact still remains that an armed Zimmerman, while told by police to stand down, refused to comply and initiated contact with Martin. If Martin felt he was in fear of his life and started beating Zimmerman's ass in self-defense is he wrong?
I can understand if there isn't enough evidence for a murder conviction. But manslaughter seems to fit.
