Really, though, what could Trayvon had done to avoid this? Not wear a hoodie when it's cold and rainy out? He was unarmed and minding his own business before the altercation occurred in which he apparently became a blood thirsty psychopath.

not live in Florida?

Oh yes, that, of course.

I still don't see how actions you chose to take which lead to an altercation and you're somehow justified in pulling a gun out in a fistfight and killing the person.

It was Zimmerman who followed Martin; not the other way around. Legal system is ****ed.

I agree.

Zimmerman should have gotten manslaughter. He needed to face some kind of consequence for inciting the death of an innocent child out of clear racial profiling. I can understand not going for the murder charges, but at least manslaughter. But instead the jury decided that he didn't need to face the repercussions of his irresponsibility.

I will say that fat bastard is one stoic fat bastard. He only blinked when he heard the "not guilty" verdict, otherwise a poker-face.

Why would he? It's not a smiling situation, he knows he is probably the most despised human being in the United States right now, and it would look absolutely terrible for the nation to see him smile at the fact that he just got away with the murder of an innocent child.

Because he was facing something like 10-30 years of being a buttboy in prison. It's understandable if a mild smile or a sigh of relief escaped.

He's a sociopath.

It would look bad to the nation to express any happiness at getting away with the murder of an innocent child.

worse than, you know, killing a teenager in the first place?

Honestly, the last couple of days it looked like Zimmerman could hardly stay awake at the trial, they might have just been feeding him Xanax the whole time.

Yea. It would look worse. The killing of the kid was an accidental and foolish tragedy, but Zimmerman smiling would make it look like he got away with cold-blooded murder.

Zimmerman said he didn't regret killing him.

in fact, he said he would do it again

At least he's a straight shooter that sticks to his guns.

Wasn't meant as a fat joke. It was meant as a ''What you said was stupid''-joke. Ha!
