Yeah seems they are going with the now a days generic realism feel to this movie. Like mos, Even some interstellar vibe.

My opinion is the same as before. It's a random sci fi flick with the fantastic four name shoved in there just to keep the rights.

I got a big Interstellar vibe myself.

Possibly just a coincidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if the trailer creator was specifically trying to play off the success of that film.

I've read regarding the film...Stan Lee genuinely loved the idea that somebody would be taking the Fantastic Four seriously and putting them into a modern space.

I liked the original movies, I don't see why people hated them. Sure they were stupid, but then again most movies are stupid. At least it had Jessica Alba and the hot blind woman.

This movie blows.

I didn't mind either of Alba Fantastic Four movies. Chiklis is always fun to watch, Julian played an entertaining Doom, I even liked cloud Galactus. Upon rewatch they certainly do have a certain cheese factor to them, but they weren't Catwoman or Batman and Robin bad by any means.

Regarding those films and this new one, I am not a comic book reader, and thus could not care how faithful the films are to the comics. Ever since the Bourne films, I've never thought an adaptation had to be faithful to be good. Needless to say, I love Kate Mara and Michael B Jordan, and I like the MOS-realism vibe, so I'll definitely be seeing this.

Agreed, I will watch it but won't be paying for it if you get my drift.🙂
