The "hate" is very likely because up until now all the news that has leaked about the movie has painted a rather bleak picture of the movies quality, I find it disingenuous for people to act like they don't know why some people have a problem with or are not excited about the movie.

So it's those things making people hate the trailer, and not the trailer itself.

Bingo.
Most Marvel fans do want this movie to flop hard so that Marvel can get the rights back.
But I actually wouldn't mind if this movie kills it tbh, so that X-Men and FF can have their own shared Marvel Universe.
The MCU has enough to explore with GOTG, Thanos, Death, Infinity Gauntlets, Nova Corps, The Kree, The Inhumans e.t.c. e.t.c.
So I really don't think they need or have tons of room for X-Men and FF at this stage. Best time to get them back will be when the MCU is being rebooted 10-15 years from now IMHO.
