Not invested? he claimed he had a vision that would be so grand no one would forget (or something like that) lol. The point here is one group claiming they have a vision, then blame another group solely because his vision was compromise due to lack of control that was due to silly behind-the-scene shenanigan. If that is just rumor, then Trank is solely in the right, but if its not...the idea of his vision being ruined by fox is only half the story....he contributed to the other half of the outcome whether directly or indirectly. Well i guess we can both agree that they are both to blame.

Early on he said multiple times that he was going to incorporate alot of what was in his unfinished script for Chronicle 2 into the FF. He was even going to make this FF into a found footage film in the early stages. Since it was a rush job by FOX, Trank and others basically didnt have time to write a better script in time.
Even after writting a half ass script that had alot of chronicle 2 elements, FOX still changed things and did a bunch of reshoots and edits.
The whole thing was a fuking mess. It was mostly due to the rush job bu FOX just to keep the rights.
i can definitely see fox rushing the project to keep the rights. I think thats common knowledge by now, which i am in total agreement that the majority of the problem certainly stems from fox's decision, despite the fact that Trank could've easily said "No". There's been cases where directors willingly dropped out of a project midway because the project was compromising of their artistic vision. But my problem is with the second half of your post.

would it be at all POSSIBLE that they had to reshoot and edit due to his (Trank) erratic and problematic behavior (which at this point is just heresay as all we got is testimony from an anonymous crew member)? Because if it is...how can he place "vision" blame on Fox when he certainly would have contributed to that alteration by not being "available"?
I feel sorry for some people involved with this film(Kate Mara and Jamie Bell), but not Michael B Jordan and Fox. Jordan's smug attitude towards the fanbase with his "They'll go see it anyway" comment he made a year ago. Well you couldn't be more wrong. Comic fans are loyal yes, but this proves that they simply won't just go see any movie. I hope those words are haunting him right now.
And then we have Fox's arrogance at dating a sequel before this even hit theaters and even talking about still going through with it after this flopped. Yeah I'm sure it'll be made just like Batman Triumphant, Superman Returns 2, Green Lantern 2 and Amazing Spider-man 3...

exactly. i think its pretty corny that Trank actually went on social media and point finger...especially if rumor of his behind the scene nonsense is true. If his vision was not projected onscreen due to his not being involved due to his dispruptive behavior, how is it logical to blame fox only?
Fox is in charge. It's their fault. They chose Trank and he was their responsibility. This is a 3/3 fail on this franchise for Fox, and they've just sat on SS and Galactus for the last 15 years doing nothing with them, and refusing to allow Marvel to use them.
Plus they rushed certain parts of the production to keep the rights. They shouldn't have left the production so late if they were serious about doing right by this franchise.
So no point in diverting blame for all that to the Director they picked.
Well, a guy went and did some research into why this bombed so badly. He raises a few points I, and probably a few others, weren't aware of.
