STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- The Movement

Weapon stockpiles? That's serious business. What other worlds have they hit? Anything similar?

Im thinking it could be two things, either their hitting worlds for basic necessities to keep their piracy going or their arming up for something big. It comes down to what's being hit and what's being taken.

A few other worlds have been hit, but Shollis is the big one. Things like weapon stockpiles are rare out here because they make obvious targets for pirates.

You'll need to get in touch with these worlds if you want to know what they took.

I would like to do that if I can. There might be a bigger picture here and I doubt these outer worlds have been talking with each other.

So much for not getting involved in this pirate business am I right?

A well-reasoned doubt. Indeed, there is no coordinated effort to stop piracy out here. Every world fends for themselves.

Though the Shollese actually report to you that they had assistance; the Tyr-sen did not take nearly as much as they would have.

They had assistance? From who, one of their neighbours?

No. Their neighbors are decidedly unhelpful.

It was a small group of starfighters. Pirates also, from the look of them.

Pirates fighting against the Try-Sen? The Srum maybe? Can Wentsr somehow get a detailed report in what exactly happened down there?

They don't want to share too much information because some of their security measures are disclosed, but they can tell you that the fighters ambushed the Tyr-sen while the Tyr-sen were engaged on Shollis.

Wedged between the security forces and the pirates, and unprepared for that fight, the Tyr-sen chose to retreat. They lost a freighter that carried a significant amount of the weapons they stole from the Shollese.

The pirates took half of the weapons as payment; the Shollese let them.

Only half? That's... odd behavior for pirates. Were there any markings that could pinpoint what clan it was?

They were unmarked. Also unusual for pirates, who tend to be proud of their affiliation.

They only had contact with the pirates by hologram, but they remember speaking with a Rodian...

... They didn't happen to get that Rodian's name did they?

No, but you can piece together pretty easily who it was.

Admittedly meta knowledge let me piece it together earlier, but that's what I get for taking the separate IC/OOC knowledge flaw. 😛

So Loj'oon is fighting the pirates out here, and by the sounds of things arming himself pretty well too... Though that should mean his base of operations is nearby right?

You would assume so!

Maybe I should try find out who else in this area has gotten help by these 'pirates'. Maybe form a pattern so I can narrow down a search area.

Hmm... it seems that nobody else near Shollis has experienced such assistance. Not even worlds with prominent weapon stores.

Odd. Guess that means this was a one off, he must have known the Tyr Sen were targeting Shollis. But how?

Did the Shollisians send out a distress call when the pirates attacked?

They did not.

Damn, I need to figure out what was so special about Shollis... maybe he was just passing through for supplies.

Do they trade with outsiders much?

Their economy is more or less based on the purchase and sale of weaponry, so yes. Many local worlds trade with them, and the occasional passerby.
