Again, if you want to call spite, sure. I agree, only reason Bane was effective in TDKR was cos Batman doesn't use lethal tactics, and no one was smart enough to put a bullet in his head. He also had Talia; not here though.

And he'll be shot or speared with a makeshift bit of debris, or get a dinner tray gruesomely fly through his head or something else McClanesque when McClane kills him.

Bruce was an idiot! He could've made that jump many ways without needing to take a fall. Where the script writers had to ignore a man surviving that after a dislocated spine. But regardless.....

A supergenius of Wayne's level should've figured out a way out of that prison without needing to even make that dumb jump.

The scenario is "If Bane ran Han's crew, could McClane stop them?", and considering McClane has never taken on a threat of Bane's caliber before, not to mention that Bane's robbery of the Stock Exchange was far more awesome than Hans' amateur hour plan, I'm going to say no, McClane can not.

Hans' crew already tried to gun down McClane; they died. Bane barking orders will net the same result, their deaths.

Hans, Simon and especially Thomas are all smarter than Bane. Talia was the brains behind the plan to Gotham's/Batman's demise, she was doing it as revenge for her father. Bane wanking needs to stop, he was the muscle.

His doom was insane just shot through the brain.
