Dragon Age 3

Mixed bag for me so far: Story and exploration are cool. Really enjoying them.

Combat... It's better than 2, even with them having almost completely ****ing removed tactics. and the tac cam is awful (playing on pc).

companions are the same. like Vivienne, even if her head is a strange shape. Cassandra is cool. Sera's accent drives me up the wall, though that's likely because i'm very used to hearing that kind of accent seeing as England is right next door to me.

This game is pretty unforgiving if you ignore your companions, and run in to take on a hard fight. Dying really sucks if you haven't saved. It's almost like a kick in the stones. The cave Bears are like super human health drainers LOL.

lol.

Mine was a level 12 despair demon with that ****ing ice beam. the only time I've died, and it was down to that ****er. I've enjoyed using the ice and fire walls to great effect in combat. they do a great job of dividing and blocking enemies.

btw, for anyone thinking that they can't get in to the game or that they're bored: leave the Hinterlands. Seriously, once you get to 4 power, you can come back any time. Just go do some story missions and get some companions. the game really livens up once you do. I wasted almost six hours in that ****ing place.

Oh it's not all about the Hinterlands? Holy shit, I was about to give up, because this game isn't like either of the DA games that I've played. I thought that you just played the part of boot licker, and basically ran around kissing ass the entire game. I'll give it a try.

you will go back there, but yeah, so much more to do. i'm usually someone that has to do all of the sidequests at once, but in this game you're better off doing some, then moving on to something else before coming back and doing the rest.

Actually I'm trying to figure out if I can get my money back 😂 I'm running around in the desert sucking d##k, and getting my arse handed to me.

Did the same. My favorite is Iron Bull with Freddie Mercury in a close second. I love the Warden too due to my love for DAO. Viv had a great entrance when I told her to kill that guy. Cassandra is bland to me and Solas is absolutely boring. I have enough mages as is. As for combat, I just have Iron Bull pull people over, kick them in the face and then we go to town. I'm playing on hard right now.

I only got Iron Bull and Blackwall recently, so i'm a little behind.

I play a mage, so still trying to find the right balance of my team. Vivienne offers good nuking from a distance, but Bull and Cassandra run good interference.

Is this game amazing?

I've heard it's pretty fantastic.

It feels good to choose a race again and not get stuck as a human like in DAII. Frickin' shemlens thinking they own everything.

There's a point where I went from liking this game, to loving it.

Don't want to spoil it, but yes, amazing.

Do the Rogue classes feel like they're lacking to anyone else?

Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff*ck.

I was so excited and into the game that I didn't fully realize till about 30 hours in that the Keep uploaded the wrong world state. It did the super default one and my Hero of Ferelden was a female Dalish warrior who died killing the Archdemon. And Hawke is a warrior, not a mage.

That is not what I wanted. But it's too late to fix it in my Male Qunari Mage playthrough. I guess I can keep on truckin', or say goodbye to my weekend trying to get to the same level with a new playthrough.

Suggestions?

Be the man that you want to be. Fix what was once broken.

Hmmm. 30 hours or so isn't too long I suppose. And it's not like I'll get bored. This game is just plain fun.

Do it over again. You know that's the only option.

I knooooow. It'll irk me until I do, because I don't want to complete a game world that I didn't choose. That was the whole point of me even doing the Keep in the first place. Well, 30 hours of experience will be put to use. Because now I know what not to say to people and how to get around a bit better.

Also I need to start over because my Qunari looks as ugly as an Ogre. I clearly did something wrong in his creation process.

There you go, boss
