I think I see the problem here, and it appears to be a wacky sitcom misunderstanding. Do you believe that we are claiming that the Master Sword can instantly kill anything evil? Suffice to say, that is not it at all. Here is the point we agree on:

Bolded for emphasis. The Master Sword is stated to be effective against evil. That is indeed what it does. No one is claiming that the Master Sword automatically kills evil beings and destroys all evil everywhere forever. It's just more effective against evil and/or dark creatures than a normal sword would be. For the sake of this conversation, that is all it does.

Now then, for where we disagree:

Again, bolded. The Master Sword is never stated to just dispel magic. Nowhere in any game is that said, as far as I know. It has, however, been said to cleave evil power and break curses. It has been shown to seal evil magic and affords some magical protection, but "dispel magic" has never been a thing the Master Sword does. Unless, note, said magic is evil, dark, or a curse.

Does that about clear it up?

It is said in the HH which to me makes sense as it dispels Dorfs magic which sustains his life.

I think you make a good point that it doesn't dispel any magic just is more effective against evil magic. I love that you said this, actually.

Like I said, try out a different browser. You don't need to uninstall Safari or get your browsing history and bookmarks erased.
