ALot of the comments in that link

seems like alot of people don't actually read comics.

So, IM 3 will end up around 1.2B and around 400 Domestically. Right under TDKR which I said it would be. Great number all around. Time will tell how much MOS will do, but many are predicting it to be huge and WB stated it will be the biggest movie for them.

Of course WB is going to say something like that. Do you expect them to say, Um..guys we don't expect MOS to make money. They are building up hype and paying off early reviewers to do so/

Anyways, most website that do these box predictions still put it in 650-750WW range which I still have to agree with. MoS/Superman still suffers what every failed franchise does. It has to build up the trust and prove that Superman isn't what it used to be. Every first money has to do that. Look at Thor, IM, Batman..etc

As far as IM3 numbers go, I'm pretty shocked. I can't believe it got so high. I was expecting 1 billion by this time but it's still going

I don't think WB has said that about any movie, TBH. Their predictions have been modest for the most part from what I remember.

don't be fooled here.. WB has to say things like that after all Man of Steel must make$ 600 million worldwide to even say sequel, Justice League.. still don't think it even crack over $500 million but I will wait and watch

It needs to make around 500M for a JL movie. It's already tracking 130M OW.

It will definitely pass $500mill Imho. After all that Singer crap SR made just under $400mill seven years ago.

who exactly is saying its tracking to $130 million opening weekend?? I've read nothing of the sort...

I posted a link earlier. There were a few people who are tracking that.

can you find this link?

Saw it as tracking that as well. But, TBH, once a movie begins tracking at over 100 mil it becomes a crap shot and it very difficult to track accurately.

This doesn't mean MOS will make more money, but it's encouraging to hear.

Fandango: "'Man of Steel' is outselling all previous summer 2013 movies at the same point in the sales cycle."

this is not encouraging at all.. this better make a ton of dough overseas..

Lol. How is a 100 million OW not encouraging? This film was never going to make TDK or IM3 money.

Plus the article claims it should have good legs.

We'll find out next week. But wasn't Star Trek also predicted a 100mill OW?

Let's hope it's A LOT more financially successful than Star Trek.

Most tracked it at 75-80. A lot of the buzz died off at the end.

That's what I mean. Let's just hope something similar doesn't happen with MOS.

It's a week away and the buzz is VERY strong. A lot stronger than Trek at simialr time. A few employees that very rarely go to the movies are going to watch this. All my friends already got tickets and most of them aren't even Superman fans.

Not saying this is going to break records, but it should do very well.
