Don't know what screen feat you saw, but the one I saw was a fight which kept shifting between Thor and Hulk being the favorite.
Thor knocks Hulk through a wall to save BW. Dodges Hulk's punch then rocks him back with a punch. Blocks Hulk's 1 arm with both his arms trying to talk Hulk down. Then gets punched through a wall himself (upto now this was all without Mjolnir).
He then calls on Mjolnir and whacks Hulk back smashing into a Jet plane.. Hulk throws a Jet Wing at him, Thor dodges it, then floors Hulk by throwing Mjolnir at him. Hulk desperately tries to lift Mjolnir to use against Thor but completely fails.
Thor knees Hulk in the face, then jumps on his back attempting to restrain/choke out the Hulk. Thor fails the grappling attempt as Hulk leaps crashing them both through the ceiling, then throws Thor.
Fight gets stopped by fighter Jet.
^ Now to me that sounds like a fight going back and forth. However anyone with an ounce of sense no matter how biased one way or the other, can at least see Thor was "going up against the Hulk" in that fight.
Whilst that fight didn't include even a single Lightning strike or Wind Funnel by Thor. Frankly in an outdoor fight, I don't see Hulk having any solution to Thor whipping him up in a Tornado like he did to The Destroyer. So if anything, the onscreen evidence suggests that if Thor goes all out, that he's the one no one from The Avengers can go up against,
