Blu-Ray will feature alternate ending & extended scenes.
Whedon cut the feature film from 3 hours down to 2 hours 20 minutes for theatre release.

That's a bummer that phones aren't invented.

It probably is the best, but it's not my favorite. Avengers 1 is the most quotable movie since the 80s.

Gonna go with Fight Club on that one.

It's a ****ing popcorn movie like the first.

For ****s sake, people

So is Transformers...

I'm sure most people realize it's a popcorn movie, it's just not a particularly good popcorn movie.

You don't think Fight Club is one of the most quoted movies in the last ~20 years?

You'd be wrong.

Here's a list as voted by thousands of people:*

http://www.ranker.com/list/most-quoted-movie-/azzy_roth

That list says Forrest Gump is the most quoted movie. I think that's correct as two different people quoted stuff from that movie, yesterday, alone. I don't believe I quoted Avengers, except for the "I'm always angry" line, at all.

*The logical fallacy, argumentum ad populum, might not be a fallacy at all when it comes to something like this. But I would be critical of the source and method of collection of this poll. Probably not a scientific poll but Forrest Gump is so far ahead of everything else that it is probably a solid #1 even with weaknesses in their method of collection.

"One of the most"

It's impossible to definitively pick a single movie as the most quoted .

Tens (hundreds?) of millions of people saw Transformers films. All the Transformers films are excellent popcorn flicks. In fact, if I were teaching a class on what a popcorn flick was, I'd use the Transformer films as excellent examples.

"A movie that is mindless fun and has one thing (special effects, action, etc) and nothing else."

But are they good movies? Yup. All of them are enjoyable.

I didn't see it pop up on the list...lemme check again...

Yup. Fight Club is not voted as one of the most quoted movies of all time. Doesn't even show up. So that case is closed. You're correct.

And who cares?

Google search another list and it will be on there.

And I'd disagree. The Transformer films (aside from the first) are horrible.

I don't feel like making the effort. I just thought I'd check to see who was correct. Ranker.com is usually a good place for those kinds of questions and they delivered.

I've seen all of the Bay ones.

Why torture yourself like that if you didn't enjoy any of them except the first?

I enjoyed all of them along with the tens of millions of other people who enjoyed them.* Some people watch these movies dozens of times every time they are released. I can't believe that but I support their option to waste their money. 😆

There are people who are going to see Avengers 2 dozens of times. 😐

*There's this phenamomon known as the "bla bla bla effect" and it means that it is the false sense of being in a minority opinion because of your social group. On KMC, I am in the minority when it comes to the Transformer films. Some even call me a "troll" for liking them. But in the real world, tens of millions of people enjoyed them, as well. I can't remember that name of that phenomenon but if you know what I'm talking about, please tell me that name...it is irritating that I cannot remember the name of that thing.
