Are you aware of the storyline of Civil War?

Yeah, but it won't be a direct adaptation for the movies since there are no secret identities. It will be regulation of superhero activity

Joss Whedon wanted to put Spider-Man and Captain Marvel in the movie

Tony is responsible due to his negligence. Yes, he should be jailed. Created artificial life and giving it access to his armory is out right gross negligence. He might be an Avenger but he doesn't get to decide on how the world is policed. He took it upon himself try create an AI with the obvious possibility of it going wrong. Being that he is one of the smartest people around, he would know of the possible risk and yet does not consult the world's government regarding his action. His creation went bad and killed people so yes he should be partly responsible. This isn't like having a child go bad; this is an advance computer capable of doing world wide harm that was brought to life by a genius.

Bruce: Tony we shouldn't do this. It's dangerous.

Tony: What that's silly we're MAD SCIENTISTS

Bruce: ... okay that's...weird reasoning. Can we at least tell the team?

Tony: No way! They will tell me it's dangerous and bad.

*Creates Ultron*

*People die*

*A country is destroyed*

Avengers: Tony!

Tony: Aw shucks! Sassy comment.

Everyone high fives.

Credits.

ahaha! nice. He was let off the hook rather easily.

Should see all the Black Widow fans angry at what Whedon did with her in the movie.

Personally I felt Whedon gave her more character than just being "eye candy" in the previous Marvel movies.

But yeah I understand there's a lot of angry feminists wanting Whedon's balls for comparing a woman being sterile to being a "monster".

They're annoying to be honest.

Pretty sure she was saying what she's done made her a monster, not being sterile

I think that scene was badly done. Perhaps suffering from the same extensive cutting as many others.

Apparently Whedon was forced to shut his Twitter account down when "feminists" verbally attacked him for the sterile/monster anecdote & an implied rape joke made in AOU.

While he has been criticised by feminists for some of his decisions in AOU, you claiming that that is the definite reason why Whedon shut down his account, even going so far as to call it "forced" is extremely disingenuous.

[edit] Additionally, looking at the tweets that were sent at him (https://twitter.com/RockieWarAntz/status/595358744143208448/photo/1), it's interesting how there are like no death or rape threats at all. In comparison, people who are against feminists: http://femfreq.tumblr.com/post/109319269825/one-week-of-harassment-on-twitter

There was none in the movie to my knowledge

it was from Jeremy Renner & Chris Evens during the press tour, Which they've apologized.

There is Iron Man's joke about reinstating prima nocta (which may have been changed in some versions).

Here are the two here

http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2015/05/04/joss-whedon-deletes-twitter-account-after-rabid-feminist-avengers-backlash/

No way. Breitbart thinks it must have been because of the backlash? Well, I'm convinced.

Additionally, from the caption, I assume that's not actually the link you wanted to post, is it?

I didn't take the whole being sterile made her a monster.
I took it as they made her a killing machine. With no other distractions than to focus on the mission at hand at all times. Which in most cases was to kill someone.
IMO , that is what made her a monster. lulz @ feminists.

My sister was whining about the sterile plot-point the entire day proceeding us going to see the film, then once she actually watched the scene she thought it was perfectly fine. Too much time spent reading rants on Jezebel, apparently.

Personally, I was more irritated with Natasha's forced shipping to Bruce than the sterile thing. I appreciate the attempt to flesh out her character, but imo that sort of thing reeeeeally needs groundwork to be laid out first. With how hard she was coming onto him in the first half of the movie, it almost felt... not exactly "rapey", but... I think that if the genders in that situation had been reversed a lot of people would have felt uncomfortable watching it.

It was the Prima reference from Tony to Thor.

Although to be honest, I either didn't hear, acknowledge or understand the reference in the Australian version.
