I am disappointed by cutting of tracks from Forza 4 to Forza 5. I do agree with the developers about how they needed to redo all the tracks becaus of next gen.

It might be a cop-out answer but most reviews have said that the tracks are infinitely better than previous gens. Same with the cars.

Probably the best launch between both consoles.

Well, about that. I'm sure you realized the same thing I did: they did that so they could sell more tracks as DLC, later on down the road (punnnnn!).

I don't believe that is true.

The last two games had no track DLC so I don't know if they will have it.

Also, according to developers, it takes roughly 9 months to scan and model a track so if there was paid DLC, it would be 1-2 tracks.

This might be untrue and I'm naive but considering previous games in the series had a roughly the same amount of tracks, what they say makes a bit of sense.

You could be right. It could have been a, "Dude, we gotta get our product out on the market while the market is barren so we can sell as many copies as possible. We can always add DLC, later."

Right now, the pickings for the console are fairly slim. A very polished racing game will sate the racing types and Forza is among the best racing game franchises of allllll time. ALL TIME!

The new way to input codes on xbox One is pretty cool.

Hopefully I get the console today (shipped yesterday), and I'll let you know about it.

This is going to be brutal if every single person puts a Youtube video about how their console is not working.

As stated previously, hardware fails. It sucks and I would be super pissed if it happened to me but it does happen.

If the issue is going to something like RRoD then I would agree wholeheartedly but a disc tray making that sound feels to be just a broken disc player.

Gotta expect this stuff when a new system launches. You'd think early adopters would be at least somewhat prepared for this, I know I was.

So far M$ has it relatively simple, they have a most common issue, whereas with SONY I don't think they've narrowed it down to what's causing the problem. Though it could be one thing manifesting itself in different ways.

Yeah, in fact, to update the new console, it was pretty quick. I was expecting a much longer time.

The Forza update took 6 Gb's and roughly 45 minutes to download.

I haven't really used the console yet (kid came home literally 30 minutes after I got the console). Voice commands work reasonable well. It is really neat to do so.
