"“Man of Steel's” phenomenal debut bested the opening day record previously established only last April by “Iron Man 3” at P62.9-million."
those are the opening day figures in the philippines.. at current conversion rates, that is about $i.6 million USD..
Harsh review. I mean very harsh.

Seriously phuck the reviews cant care about some morons bitchin about everything......even if they say this movie sucks Ill watch it and decide if I like it or not.
As for having too much action Superman Returns sucked balls besides the plane saving there was pretty much no action in it.....let them show how cool Superman can be by wreckin some shit...😛

Many reviews are coming back with a reoccurring: 'too little story; too much action'.Oh well. I've enjoyed story-less explosion fests from time to time, just wasn't expecting it in MoS, if true.

Obviously going to watch it and judge for myself.
As far as the "doomed the franchise and Justice League" sentiments. That remains to be seen, even if this flick is a just weak story coupled with an explosion fest, the final $$$ will dictate the future.

Me neither. I am still going but it gives me pause is all. Preview looked good but that can be deceiving.
previews are always deceiving which is why the people from all over the world are the true judges

As an aside, I think it's hilarious that whenever a film gets favorable reviews, everyone's like "omg the reviews for this are so good, this film's gonna rock!", yet whenever reviews for a film are ass, people are like "omg **** reviews I'll judge this for myself!"
Stay classy.
