I am glad someone pointed out the terraforming thing being a plothole.

I was going to write up a big long review like I usually do for big movies but I decided not to, this time. But there are tons of things like that in the film that were forced. Granted, not nearly as bad as Dark Knight Returns.

You mean Rises, right?

Anyone saying this isn't a Superman movie, imo, has a very narrow, inflexible view of what a Superman movie can be. You can still dislike it, but pretending it's not at all like a Superman story is pushing it, imo.

And I honestly felt that Zod wanted to terraform Earth to punish Jor-El and his son.

He would have been better off leaving Earth as is. All the Krptonians he could have birthed out of Clark's anus would have been super-powered in Earth's environment.

I quite enjoyed him too, it's too bad but now we get this reboot so see where it goes

saw this movie again today.. and i have to say it was better the second time around.. i was so excited the first time, the only scenes that i absorbed properly were the krypton scenes.. this time was a better experience.. i was able to follow the story better and the easter eggs were more easy to spot and were more satisfying.. like the wayne enterprise logo on the sattelite was pretty big, but due to the action, it's easily missed.. the final fight with zod was slowed down in my perspective.. i can see more of the punches landing, i can see more people fleeing the scene.. it's like having man-o-steel-a-vision.. it was awesomer.. the pros really outweighs the cons so much.. this was a great superman movie.. i was a great movie, period.. and i dunno what these haters are referring to but kal-el and lois had pretty good chemistry.. and considering the powers zod and kal-el had, it's no wonder that the collateral damage would be so much.. and if you think superman won't help, then you don't know squat about superman..

also,

Spoiler:
i love how he was addressed as superman only once this movie.. probably the reason why lois keep calling him clark..

You cannnnnnnnnnnnn't do that.

^ Nice formula. But I'm sure the sequel will have more than just Lex Luthor. Don't want another SR thanks.

I'm all for Metallo being Luthor's henchman and later luthor using the suit? I'm fine if Luthor is the only villain so long as he wears the suit and fights.

He could even adapt it out of Zod's suit. It was tough enough and if he can reverse-engineer Kryptonian tech he could easily take on Kal.

Ok, we got it, you like the movie.

You know this is not Hancock, this is superman. Though, I am not surprise he cause so much damage since in the 2hrs and 23mins of the movie he barely learned how to fly.

Unlike the original movie where he stay away and took a couple of years learning his powers before revealing himself, the writer of this movie decided it was good idea to let superman go buck-wild while he was totally untrained in his powers and abilities.
